This is a hidden gem, down a quiet lane and nestled close to Slemish and with lots of historic things to see and do nearby we loved our stay here. The owners were absolutely great too.
A charming cottage with wonderful views over the Irish countryside
A very comfortable cottage in the heart of the countryside . Just perfect for a relaxing break. The cottage was very clean and well equipped as well as being a great base for visiting the surrounding area and various sites. Our 3 week stay was just super, thoroughly enjoyed by all the family, we were very sad to leave such a homely and welcoming place. Thank you, Edith and James for your very warm and friendly "Norn iron" welcome. Merci beaucoup !
We stayed in the farmhouse for a week with our two daughters (10&12). The setting is idyllic with fields of sheep all around - therefore very peaceful. We went in April and our daughters loved the lambs which they could watch from their bedroom window. The farmhouse was well equipped with all that you need including DVDs and books. Edith had left us some food supplies for when we arrived which was a lovely touch and gratefully received. We would definitely stay again if we were to visit Northern Ireland. It was well located for us with the sites that we wanted to see.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette charmante maison avec un environnement magnifique et très paisible. C’est un havre de paix! Merci à Edith et James pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et leurs conseils.
We were in awe of the property from the moment we drove through the gate. Beautiful cows, friendly sheep as far as the eye can see, and beauty all around. Then we arrived at the farmhouse and met our hosts, Edith and James, who were the most welcoming, friendly people. They had a fire going for us when we arrived, and even tea and treats! We enjoyed our daily chats with them so much, as they are so lovely. The sheep were brought to different fields during our stay, including the garden right outside the house. It felt so cozy and homey. The rooms were the perfect size for our family of 5. We were able to easily travel to local attractions like the titanic museum, giant’s causeway and carrick-a-rede bridge, but the best part of each day was coming “home” to this lovely house. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you so much for a thoroughly wonderful stay!
