Winter Rates in Place -- The Landing Pad, built in 2017, is a walk out studio apartment located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina between Brevard and Hendersonville, just minutes from DuPont State Forest and Oskar Blues REEB Ranch, 25 minutes to the entrance of Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway and 45 minutes to the Tryon International Equestrian Center. Located at the end of a dead-end road in a private, quiet, wooded setting, lodgers will feel a world away but still close to both state and national forests as well as local restaurants, breweries and shopping.
The studio apartment, occupying the lower level of the owners' home, is completely separate from the owner's residence with a private entrance, and at 600 square feet, there is plenty of room for two as well as their canine companions and gear. The spacious mudroom featuring locally made furniture and bike stands, gives renters a place to safely store their bikes and other gear, and for those who enjoy cooking, a large, fully- stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a dining area that comfortably seats four. The living room features a slate feature wall with a small electric wood stove style heater for chilly nights and a 40" internet ready TV (with Directv).
Outdoors there is a private, covered deck with a view of the woods with a table and two chairs for enjoying morning coffee. Coming spring of 2019 will be a bike washing station attached to the deck. Across from the unit is a wooded area for enjoying a quiet walk with your dogs.
Sleeping accommodations include both a queen sleeper and a twin sleeper. Note that there is no formal bedroom.
This unit has easy access with the driveway in front of the unit and no stairs at the entrance. This helps with both loading and unloading as well as accommodates those with limited mobility (note that the shower is walk in as well).
