Front garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture, firepit and barbecue. Hot tub for 4 (private). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply via borehole.. Chestnut Pod is a welcoming family-friendly glamping retreat set within the peaceful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway. Located on a working farm near Newton Stewart, the pod offers a relaxing rural escape while remaining close to forests, coastlines and local attractions.

Inside, the pod features a spacious open-plan layout designed for comfort and practicality. The sleeping arrangement includes a luxury double bed for adults and a sofa bed for children, making it ideal for couples or small families. Fully insulated and double glazed, the pod remains cosy in every season, while the log burner and electric heating provide extra warmth during cooler evenings.

The kitchenette includes a two-ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, as well as crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Guests can easily prepare simple meals or enjoy breakfast before heading out to explore the surrounding countryside.

The pod also features a private En-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

Outside, Chestnut Pod offers a fantastic outdoor space designed for relaxation. The private hot tub allows guests to unwind while taking in the peaceful rural views, creating the perfect way to end a day of exploring.

The outdoor patio also includes seating, a BBQ and a fire pit, making it easy to enjoy relaxed evenings outdoors. Whether you’re cooking dinner, watching the sunset or stargazing under the famous Galloway dark skies, the outdoor space adds something truly special to your stay.
