Home away from home

The place was Quite. Tucked in behind other Condos. So it was nice wake up in the morning sitting on the screened in porch drinking my coffee. At night by the pool thay have live music, a bar and food. What more could you want.

Nice getaway

Closing Time condo was wonderful, clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, and comfortable. The community pools and hot tubs were great. It’s a short, easy drive to a beautiful beach, but not really walkable due to lack of sidewalks and busy street. Would recommend for a single or couple.

Short Weekend Getaway

This was a great spot for a 4 day weekend stay near a beach. We were looking to stay somewhere we could access a pool/hot tub, do some golfing, and maybe get some fishing in. When we arrived there was no Wifi and the dishwasher was leaking. Management was quick to respond about the dishwasher but we were not able to access the Wifi. Once we booked we received offers for discounts at many locations including golfing and fishing! I have already shared this location as a recommendation.

Poor Communication

The condo was nice as was the location. We trailered a 19 ft boat and parked inside the gates. At the time of booking there was nothing on VRBO or in emails about trailer parking being prohibited. We are familiar with the area and assumed the large lot would be okay for parking. There are no signs mentioning trailer parking being prohibited on the property. A large violation sticker was placed on the boat and we were told by resort management to park outside the gates and there would be a solution next day. Our truck then got a note saying we will be towed. There was obviously poor communication between resort management for the rental and those with HOA placing violation stickers. We found another location on our own to park and did not hear back from Perdido Key Resort Management with their solution.

Disappointment

Whole place was under construction that they stopped back in May. We were never notified of this until arrival. Check in is from 4-5:30pm. We arrived at 4:15 and were told our unit wasn’t ready and it would be another hour yet. Came back at 5:20 and it still wasn’t ready. Finally get to the unit at 6:30 and find it to be under construction itself with furniture in disarray and no tv/WiFi. Hand railing falling off, screened-in porch with no screens, old wood on decks, just a mess. Not much activities near by. Just a big disappointment.
