Overall I was very pleased with my stay and recommend it. I enjoyed the location so much I extended my stay for another month. Linda and David Fong felt like family and were very sweet to work with despite some issues with the contract and receiving a refund. They gave me a good deal for both months with Christmas special pricing which I appreciated. Any issues or questions that arose were resolved through text, email and phone.
PROS: Tastefully decorated, beautiful hardwood floors, easy to keep clean with supplies left for guest to use, washer/dryer in the bathroom, new appliances including dishwasher, iron/ironing board, walk in closet big enough for luggage and clothes, extra blankets, Heat/AC/Fan hotel room style, Roku TV (no cable; use your own Amazon/Netflix account), cooking supplies in kitchen for those of us who like to cook at home and furniture for all your needs. Other things to note: the building has awesome security measures like a fob for every door, elevator and garage parking to make you feel extra safe. Did I mention your own free parking spot in a garage full of cameras? =) The neighbors here are fantastic and respectful of each other. The area: walkable neighborhood, no homeless people around in Little Italy, tons of restaurants, grocery store/Rite Aid within walking distance and the marina is very close by and a must see especially if you like to jog.
CONS: The bed is very uncomfortable and extremely hard to sleep on. I could not get a good night's sleep at all. They need to add a very thick memory/gel foam topper on top of the mattress with an extra plush mattress protector on top of that! The comforter was too thick and heavy and could not be laundered. An allergy down comforter with a duvet would be better so bedding can be washed and to enjoy a better nights sleep. The sheets could be a bit softer and pillows should have protectors on them. There were only small wine glasses to use and no drinking glasses or cups. All the spoons for cooking were wooden so I couldn't flip my eggs or whatever without a rubber spatula. More than 2 electronics on the WiFi slowed down the TV making it hard to watch anything so be careful of that. A keyless entry setup would be better than using a key. Construction and traffic noise outside the windows will wake you up: Need a tower fan/air filter or something by the bed to drown it out. The front door makes noise every time the stair exit door is used. *1 star deduction for the cons*
