About this property

Historic holiday home charm by the sea in Hasle

Rococo elegance meets Bornholm charm in this historic cottage from 1770. With a fascinating connection to Karen Blixen and only two previous owner families, the house exudes authenticity and timeless atmosphere.

The original architecture of the house has been preserved through a careful renovation that respects the historical heritage. From the atmospheric rooms, you can enjoy perfect views of the sea as you relax in the beautiful surroundings.

The garden is a chapter of its own with majestic oak trees, flowering cherry trees and an impressive mulberry tree. Here you can enjoy total peace and quiet as you follow the sun across the sky.

From the central location in Hasle, you have easy access to the town's charming smokehouse, the cozy harbor and the local beach. Explore the area, visit the local knitting shop, enjoy music at the harbor café or take the bus to Rønne, Gudhjem or Allinge.

The vacation home is truly special—right in the middle of town, but with an absolutely incredible and huge garden. We felt like we’d stumbled upon a magical little spot.
