Timber cabin by trout river in Lierne

You’ll find this charming log cabin in Nordli, with road access right to the door and a rural setting. The well-maintained cabin has been extensively renovated and is located near Skjækerfjella National Park. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet in scenic surroundings.



The cabin features an open and bright space where the kitchen and living room flow seamlessly into one another, with large windows that let in plenty of light. You’ll find a cozy soapstone wood-burning stove with glass doors, two comfortable chairs for relaxing, and an inviting living area. In addition, there is a separate bathroom with a shower and a Cinderella incinerating toilet, as well as an annex called "The Residence" with four sleeping spots divided between two rooms connected by a sliding door.



The terrace is the heart of the place, no matter the season. It features a solid wall, a roof, an awning, and a retractable windscreen. The fire pit is used frequently, and you can enjoy dark evenings outdoors. A new outbuilding provides ample storage space, and here you’ll also find a cozy outhouse with a panel heater. The property has electricity and summer water available from outdoor faucets on the wall.



Just across the road flows the Storelva, Lierne’s best trout river. Skjækerfjella National Park offers well-marked trails, and you can explore the history surrounding Sisselfossen. Lierne is known as a cloudberry-growing region, and if you want to shop across the border, it’s only a 30-minute drive to Gäddede in Sweden. On the last weekend in August, you can experience the Pe-Torsa outdoor theater in Kvelia. The town center, with shops and restaurants, is four kilometers away. During the winter months, you can ride a snowmobile directly from the cabin into a vast network of long and scenic snowmobile trails. Here, everything is in place for both nature experiences and a bit of speed.
