Unique stay on Vindö in Stockholm's archipelago!

Manor-like villa on Vindö in Stockholm's outer archipelago. You live directly east of Stockholm, out into the archipelago over bridges and along the beautiful and well-known islands of Värmdö and Djurö, about 50 minutes by car from central Stockholm (70 minutes by bus). 300 meters to the bus stop to Stockholm. 2 boats with motors included, wood-fired sauna, many bicycles included, free wifi.



Here, the large group gets everything and more! The villa has 18 fixed beds spread over 6 bedrooms and also 5 simpler travel beds. There are 3 bedrooms on the mezzanine floor and another 3 upstairs.



The beds are a mixture of bunk beds, single beds and 5 travel beds.



2 boats with outboard motors are included, but you buy the petrol yourself after instruction from the owner. The archipelago is deep and there are many shallows/rocks, so some experience of boating and the sea is desirable, as well as common sense and caution. Fishing in the sea is free with a rod and hook and there are plenty of fish where you live.



If you like cycling, you will certainly appreciate that there are many bicycles on site. Normally there are 12 of them.



You live as the last house on a private road and here there is no car traffic but there is silence and peace. On the lush plot with lawn and balconies of about 350 m2 there is plenty of space for outdoor activities! Here is also the wood-fired sauna and a wood-fired hot tub (wilderness pool). Plenty of outdoor furniture and both charcoal and gas grills. There is also a large, glazed conservatory if you come during the cold season or if it rains one day. The conservatory has a gas stove for extra heating.



The plot borders a bird lake, where there is a small dinghy (smaller boat) at a small pier.



About 300 meters away you will find the sea with sea bathing and boats! About 1.5 km away is a larger sea bathing area with sandy beach/cliffs and diving tower. There is also very good fishing for sea trout and pike.



A couple of small restaurants are within car or bike distance and a grocery store is about 1 km away.



If you are very used to the sea and boats, there may be the possibility to rent a larger steering console boat or a DayCruiser directly from the owner.



The entrance floor has a large hall with a stove, a large living room with a fireplace, a very large and well-equipped kitchen with plenty of seating, a large bathroom with toilet, corner bathtub and shower, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and the 3 bedrooms.



Upstairs is a combined library/living room, 1 toilet with shower, the largest bedroom (with 4-7 beds) and wood-burning stove, and 2 more bedrooms. Up here there is also a nice balcony.



Djurö town center has a grocery store, restaurants, swimming, mini golf, pharmacy delivery and a gas station, Stavsnäs harbor has ferries that go to the various islands, including Sandhamn.



All rooms have some antique, suitable style furniture. 2 cribs are available for small children. For your safety, there are fire alarms in all rooms and 5 fire extinguishers in the villa.
