Summer house with path to pier by fjord

You'll find this charming wooden cottage at the end of a cul-de-sac with a green path leading to the beach and the swimming pier. The house features high ceilings with an open-roof design, large windows, and plenty of natural light. The magical loft is especially appealing to children, while the spa tub, wood-burning stove, and record player invite you to relax.



The living room brings the family together around the dining table, which seats 6 people. The kitchen is spacious with ample worktop space, and the large corner sofa is perfect for cosy movie nights. Underfloor heating throughout the house ensures comfort year-round. There are three bedrooms plus a loft, a bathroom with a spa tub, and a separate guest bathroom with a washing machine.



The holiday home suits families best and is most comfortably laid out for up to 4 adults and 4 children. It can accommodate up to 6 adults, but please note that the low loft's designed as a cosy sleeping area for a maximum of 2 children and isn't suitable for adults.

The garden surrounds the house, with a lawn for play to the west and sunny terraces to the east. The covered south-facing terrace provides shade and tranquillity in any weather. You’ll find garden games, a swing in the plum tree, a gas barbecue, and fresh herbs. The area has abundant wildlife—deer often visit the garden. It’s only 375 metres down to the lovely beach. If you continue a little further along the water, you’ll find the homeowners’ association’s swimming pier, which is open to the public and perfect for a refreshing dip. The fjord is popular among kitesurfers, and with a little luck, you might spot seals. The area offers beautiful hiking trails through the Ice Age landscape near Ejby Ådal and the manor house estates. The ferry to Orø is nearby, and you can reach both Roskilde and Holbæk in under 30 minutes. We rent the holiday home exclusively for private holidays. Please note that from 28 September to 1 October 2026, we'll plant new ground cover along the driveway, seed new grass in two corners of the garden, and dig a pit for a trampoline. To give the grass the best growing conditions, we'll cordon off parts of the front yard.
