Family holiday with dogs

We booked this cottage at last minute, thinking we can’t be picky as long as there’s 2 bedrooms and accepts dogs, one being 100 lbs. when we arrived, we were very pleased to see how nice the cottage is in person! The photos only resemble the cottage, and does not do justice! It is VERY clean, spacious bedrooms, one which opens up to the balcony and has a view. All amenities are well thought out, and there is no need to pack extra towels or blankets. Our highlight was definitely the wonderful balcony/patio. The view is just stunning. You have to use the hot tub, as you will have a very different perspective of the ocean from there, and ofc, the added pampering. They even provided a board to place at the stairs to enclose our dogs on the patio. That was very much appreciated. Karen was absolutely a gem, and went out of her way to make our trip memorable! The only reason why I gave a 4 for location is because the cottage is right next to a scenic view point, and you can hear the visitors. Otherwise, it is very convenient and close to everything. I highly recommend the seaside cottage ❤️

Excellent family vacation

Clean, great views in a perfect neighborhood. Secluded for privacy but just a gravel path away to restaurants, coffee, and groceries. Loved our stay.

Magical Setting

Seaside Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. It is right on the water, which is beautiful with snow covered mountains on the horizon. The cottage is very well appointed and comfortable. We certainly hope to come back one day. We hiked to Elk Falls and through an old growth forest, visited the Maritime Center and Campbell River Museum and followed the Trail of Totems to see beautifully carved totems along the journey north from Vancouver.
