The Isle of Arran is known for its stunning landscapes and scenery, take a hike on one of the island's many trails or visit the Machrie Moor Stone Circles (10 miles) to see ancient standing stones. There are also plenty of opportunities for water sports such as kayaking and paddleboarding from the front door. Enjoy a trip to Brodick (17 miles) and unwind at the Auchrannie luxury spa and a golf club or visit the historic Brodick Castle and its beautiful garden. Arran is known for its delicious food and drink. Be sure to try some of the local specialities, such as Arran Whisky or Arran Cheese.
