Located in the grounds of a magnificent mansion house and country estate, close to the pretty towns of Ladybank and Cupar. Within easy reach to the world-famous historic town of St Andrews. This area is perfect for golf enthusiasts with over 50 courses on offer within a 25-mile radius, including the 'Old Course' and the championship course at Ladybank, only a short drive away. Walkers, hikers and cyclists are well catered for too with numerous trails, cycle paths, country parks and nature reserves to explore. The scenic East Neuk with its array of picture postcard fishing villages and sandy beaches are close at hand. With the cities of Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee are all within easy reach by car or by train.
Entering this stylish detached cottage into the hall, the perfect place to store all of your outdoor clothing, head through to the wonderful spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with amazing vaulted ceilings with beautiful exposed wooden beams. The lounge area is the perfect place to relax with large comfortable sofas, TV and wood burner, ideal for those cooler evenings. The well-equipped bespoke kitchen area is a great place to cook up a storm with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, a handy dishwasher and washing machine. Enjoy romantic or family meals together in the comfy dining area, with additional bar stool seating around the kitchen island, perfect for a nice morning coffee. Next is the delightful double bedroom with wonderful countryside views and en-suite shower room and WC. Continuing through to the rear hallway with direct access out to the enclosed garden, you are then met with a further beautiful double bedroom with wonderful feature window enjoying beautiful garden views. Completing the ground floor is the lovely shower room with shower and WC, located off the main entrance hall. Heading up the stairs from the kitchen area to the quirky first floor mezzanine level with a sofa bed, perfect for sleeping an additional fifth guest.
Venturing outside to the enclosed garden, the perfect place to enjoy al fresco dining and lazy evening stargazing across the beautiful surrounding countryside, with an abundance of wildlife to spot. Located just a short stroll from the cottage is a croquet lawn, and there is a garden chess set on the lawn beside the house. Guests are also welcome to explore the country estate around the established tracks, through wonderful woodland, un-enclosed garden areas and surrounding countryside. There is ample private off-road parking available next to the cottage.
