It was indeed a charming cottage, has everything a family need (and more!) for a short stay. We were there for a month and were comfortable with the house, the location and the nearby amenities! Check in and check out was smooth, owner was easily contactable for queries throughout. Would definitely recommend to stay!

Great place to stay!

The owner was always available, although we didn't need much because we had everything needed for our stay. We had never stayed at a place that was so well stocked!

Great base for Monterey/Carmel visits

Overall, our stay was great and exactly what we were looking for. The outdoor area is beautiful, ideal for grilling, dining, lounging, etc. Only minor issue is that internet is slow and we tried to do some work that required more bandwidth. We managed through hotspot at the end but had to go to Starbucks a few times.

Perfect Place to Stay

We stayed at the cottage for 4 days. It was the perfect house for 3 adults and an infant. We had plenty of space and the backyard is beautiful. Our baby loved looking at all the plants. It only took 10-15 minutes to drive into Monterey and about 20 minutes to get to Carmel. Very convenient location. Clean. Would certainly stay again.

Getaway from the heat

Great stay, beds were not overly comfortable but all else was good and we enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for the 3 of us. We would stay there again.

Fantastic!

My friends and I have been coming to the Monterey area for 24 years and this is best house we’ve stayed at. The house was perfect for the 4 of us and the backyard is beautiful! Barbara was very communicative and friendly.

Perfect for holiday

House is very closed to all famous things to do (Monterey aquarium, Carmel by the sea, beach,…). There is a very beautiful garden, and the house is confortable with all necessary equipments. All was perfect!

Nice Place!

The house was well furnished for 3 of us. The kitchen was well stocked dishes and had everything we needed to cook in. Loved the Viking stove. Beds were comfortable. We especially liked the back yard even though we had some cold weather we still grilled. Parking was great. The location was perfect for where we were going to sight see. I would definitely stay in this house again!

Loved our stay

We are visiting family in town for a week and needed a place to stay with our two year old. A vrbo was perfect because it gave us the ability to spread out, to cook, to not worry if our toddler woke up at night that we would wake up guests around us, etc. This house was perfect for us. It was clean and uncluttered but had everything we needed. The best part was the fantastic back yard! We ate outside whenever we could to enjoy it and our toddler loved running around it. We would definitely book again!

Great home base for Monterey Bay!

Everything about this cottage was wonderful! Super clean, comfortable beds, cozy living room with fireplace ( it was cold out!) the kitchen provided all we needed. The yard is great, though the weather did not allow for much use. Great location close to our family in Marina, sites, shopping, restaurants in Monterey, Carmel. Perfect for 2 couples. We would love to stay again!

Lovely Spot

We stayed in Seaside for 3 weeks and enjoyed every bit of it. This little cottage was exactly as listed, the back yard is exceptional, our weather didn’t cooperate, so we weren’t able to use it as much as we would have liked. Great access to all things Monterey and Barbara was very responsive. Would love to come back.

Phenomenal outdoor space

Very comfortable home appointed with everything we need. Gorgeous backyard with several lovely seating areas to enjoy the plants and flowers. Quiet neighborhood and convenient.

Home away from home

We had everything needed to prepare dinners and pack lunches for day trips to parks in the area. The instant pot was a pleasant surprise and we used it all the time. All supplies were available and towels were soft and clean. The down pillows and comforters were quite comfortable to sleep in. Barbara was very responsive and made us feel welcome in this home.

Perfect two-bedroom home near Monterey Peninsula

Spacious kitchen, living room and backyard, many small touches like bedside tables and lamps on both sides of both beds. It was very clean and gas stove was put to good use. Communications couldn't have been better. Seaside is not exciting unless you want to go big-box-store shopping but access to delights of Monterey Peninsula and Big Sur was quick and easy; many beautiful beaches such as Ford Ord even closer. Highly recommend.

Excellent location for CSUMB and everything Monterey region.

Excellent property for myself and family. The backyard is amazing. Parking off the street in front of the garage was a plus for us. We could have park in the garage but felt comfortable with leaving our van in the driveway.
