This 3 bedroom house has just been renovated in the fall of 2017. The are two brand new bathrooms and three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms have brand new queen size beds and the third bedroom has a set of twin beds to easily sleep 6 people. The house is furnished with everything you need for a great vacation. You'll have a comfortable eating nook, a spacious kitchen that is fully stocked with dishware and cookware and a comfy living area. Wifi is included along with a front porch to enjoy an afternoon cocktail. This updated vacation home could not sit in a better location. You are just 100 yards from Ocean Blvd and the sands of Hampton Beach. You are steps from the best restaurants and entertainment in Hampton Beach. You can park your car and walk the rest of your stay. Speaking of parking ... this house is significantly discounted as there is no off-street parking. There are several parking lots along H Street and around Hampton Beach. Plan on spending a few additional dollars to our listing price and you have a great vacation home. You can't beat this location. The house sits quietly in the back of our property that has two houses in front. It is very private in the back where this house is located. There is also a shared gas grill and charcoal grill for your use. If you are interested in hosting a larger group, please check out the other houses located on this property on this website.

Clean and comfortable

The inside of the property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked will all necessary amenities. The location was perfect for us, just a half a block to the beach, playground, stores and restaurants. The only thing that could have been a problem was that there was no off street parking. However, we arrived on a rainy day and found a convenient parking spot a few doors down from the rental. Everything was within walking distance so we did not have to move our car until we checked out!

Just okay.

It’s a place to sleep. We’ve stayed in a lot of places. I wasn’t impressed. It’s the little things and 1 big thing (no parking). The little things are: no tables or nightstands, the twin room doesn’t even have a bureau! No lamps. No ironing board or iron. The bathrooms have shower stalls, one is so small you can barely turn around. The outside is rundown. Not impressed.

Excellent Location

Overall, this was a decent place to stay. It was relatively clean, and the location is awesome; just a half block from everything. There are a few things that should be noted before booking.

First, it is NOT "brand new", or "completely" updated as indicated. There is no AC and only two fans; and the house is sandwiched between several other bigger buildings, so you don't get any breeze through the windows. It was HOT at night in early June. I can't imagine how it would be in July!

The parking situation sucks. If you're going to stay right there and not drive your vehicle anywhere else, the lot across the road is fine. She charged us $20 the first night and $25 the second. Not sure what's up with the different prices, but there are no other options, so you're really at the mercy of the lot owners. She absolutely will not let you leave once you're parked. If you do, you pay the same full price when you return.

Since there is no housekeeping, you have to depend on the prior renters to clean the place up. Really? People are tired, they've been partying it up during their stay, and they don't care about the incoming renter's satisfaction. They just want to go home.

Not bad at all, just don't set your expectations too high or you will be disappointed. We would stay here again.

Owner's Response: Hi, I'm sorry that you feel like you don't want to straighten up on the way out when you leave, but this is not a hotel. We are looking for respectful renters who want to rent our beach house. We are very clear that this house is tucked behind two other houses and doesn't come with parking. The rates are significantly reduced for that reason. Thanks for staying and respecting our house. John

Nice place & great location for reasonable rates

John and Katie were quick to respond to anything that was needed (not much was) the House was decently clean enough (I may have high standards) and presentable. Location is PERFECT, directly in the center, no views but really close to the strip. Parking is the only downfall. We had 3 cars and had to EACH pay 50$ for two nights and be out by 10am from the lot across the street, instead of the 11am check out time John and Katie allow. Overall it was a great time; and we will likely rent from John and Katie in the future. Thank you!
