We had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful property! The house was not only stunning, but it was also fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was particularly impressive, allowing us to prepare our holiday feast with ease. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect getaway for our family gathering. We enjoyed relaxing in the spacious living area and loved the beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to create lasting memories. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely retreat!

Property was beautiful and spacious. My dog loved all the grassy area and the fence kept her from roaming. The pool, hot tub, kayaks and pool table were plenty to keep all guests entertained.

Disappointing lake stay

First of all, I’d like to say that it’s been a couple of years since staying at a VRBO home, but this compared to past experiences, was really disappointing. Overall, the cleanliness inside the house was good (although furniture in the common space was replaced with pieces that didn’t look nearly as good as the online pictures). The yard was covered in sticks and debris, the pool cover was buried in an inch of dirty leaves and water, and there were wood bees buzzing around the wood decking constantly. The outside was the most disappointing part of the home…and the main reason we chose this house at the lake. The purpose of this visit was to see if this was a good location for us to book again in the summer, but unfortunately, it’s not a good fit for us. I did appreciate the communication from the PM group before check in, I just think this property needs more attention to detail.

Peaceful Setting and Amazing Sunsets!

My husband and I, our adult children, grandmother, and grandkids all enjoyed our stay! Something for everyone for sure! We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood and the home was very clean and comfortable. Sunsets were stunning, the kayaks were a nice option, and the game room was so fun! We ate all our meals on the deck, and fished from the dock. Nice deep water as well for swimming or boating!

Perfect lake family getaway

The house was just as advertised! Very clean and perfect for our family of 7. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and especially fishing off the dock and jumping in the lake! Renting a boat from the company was very easy and convenient. We especially loved the pool/game house. The hosts was very responsive we would def stay again!

Beautiful property

Very well laid out, and our family and kiddos enjoyed lake and pool. Is in a neighborhood, but as I understand this is similar to how many/most lake houses in this area are (as opposed to only houses around the lake itself) Clean, plus had all we needed inside and out for a very fun reprieve / mini vacation! Kiddos even fished (and caught several which they released back) right off the dock. Definitely recommend.

Very enjoyable stay

I want to start by saying Stay Lake Norman who coordinated our stay was AWESOME. They send us everything we need to know about the house and the area around us. They sent us info on boat rentals, restaurants, chefs, etc. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The Media room/converted garage was such an awesome space that we used quite a lot. The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed to cook most meals at home. It was nice that it was located on an inlet so that you didn't have a bunch of wakes while on the dock. There is just a few things to note. First the loft with the bunk beds was too open and very hard for people to sleep in there. The pool was shaded part of the day and so it really could use a heater ....especially for the month of September. Overall our experience was great and we really did enjoy our stay!

Loved this place!

We will be back! The house was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was beautiful and relaxing. We also really liked the outdoor space. Pool was perfect with a pretty view of the lake. We also really liked the game room, the fire pit, and the hibachi grill. The owner thought of everything!

Stay lake Norman is great

Great property manager. Description was spot on. House was perfect for my 6 person family. Plenty of room. Close to stores and restaurants yet off in a cove of the lake. Stay lake Norman communicated consistently and accurately. Great experience. Will ONLy go through stay lake Norman going forward

Very nice time

Stayed here 6/5-12/21, great job by the folks at StayLakeNorman in managing this property. Very responsive to all inquiries. Property itself very clean and well maintained - everything worked the way it should. The upstairs loft area where the bunk beds and twin beds are is an open area without a door. Master Bedroom King Bed was extremely comfortable with plush feeling mattress. Plenty of hot water as all 8 of us could shower and not have a concern of running the hot water tank out of water. Pool is not heated and is under shade part of the day, so it was a little cooler than we'd have liked, but was very clean. Detached garage has been converted into a game room / bar area / pool house with foosball and ping pong table. Didnt hear a peep nor even see the neighbors on either side of the property. Kitchen has everything you need (blender, crockpot, toaster, lots of pots and pans, etc...) Only suggestion would be to have a 2nd full size fridge (the detached garage area has a small wine fridge). All in all, a very nice place that you would not be disappointed with!

Wonderful stay!

This was a very nice home with great amenities for our vacation with families and children. All of us had a peaceful, fun, and relaxing time. Only thing I would mention is the room with single beds for children has an opening so can't really be closed off. But otherwise, it was wonderful and the agency was very helpful with any questions or requests we had.

Peaceful and fantastic location

The location is fantastic, especially with a dock and easy access to an open finger of Lake Norman, perfect for tubing and waterskiing. The large deck and pool areas are also fantastic for relaxing and poolside activities. The house itself is well maintained and great for a mid-sized family.

Lake Norman

This was my first time to Lake Norman. The location of this property is perfect. Overall my family and I had a great time. The house definitely didn't get cleaned or gone over before we arrived like it should have. I had to call and get someone to come out and repair multiple things. The pool filter and area was stuffed full of dead leaves and not blown off. The slats for the railing were busted off laying by pool with nails sticking up. The toilet in master bathroom ran continuously.... had to constantly manually take tank lid off and fix it. Multiple cabinets were broken. Bunk bed for kids upstairs was falling apart. Repair guy had to go to Home Depot and get items just to make it somewhat safe for kids for the week. Was also a hole in drywall by kids bunk bed. Floors in the main floor are trashed. Note to owner,...Don't paint floors black with any rental house and allow pets! I will say though when I complaind they came out immediately and the repair man was extremely nice and fixed what he could. Overall for how much I paid my family and I expected alot better. Definitely will come back to Lake Norman just in a different house.

Lake Norman Fall Vacation

Your home is beautiful and a perfect location! We truly enjoyed our stay here. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very cozy. We hope to be back next summer to rent as this was the perfect Lake Home! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Long Holiday Weekend

The home was very clean. It’s a very nice home. Location was great for us. Pool and boat dock were nice. Nice large grill on the deck. The home worked great for us and our adult children and small grandchildren. We would like to come back again next year. Can’t say enough good things about this property.

In 2015, StayLakeNorman started with their first specialty vacation rental home with an "urban contemporary" design theme. The Lake Norman vacation rental market loved this new offering, as the approximately 200 vacation homes in the area at that time were mostly just older lake homes that owners we not using and calling them vacation homes. Most had mismatched furniture, decor, colors and no dedicated style or concise personality. Over the next few years, StayLakeNorman continued to add new homes to the market and the luxury vacation rental standard was pushed up higher again.

StayLakeNorman was born and a "one-stop, sexy-house shop" was in full swing with the best designers and contractors in place to offer what luxury vacation guests wanted and demanded based on market feedback. We implemented management processes from the best and largest companies in the USA and continue to fine-tune the operation. Much was learned and many mistakes made.

Switch forward to today, StayLakeNorman has in their control the strongest performing vacation rental homes on Lake Norman. We also have a boat rental company and concierge services to help complete what luxury guests want in their vacations. Our staff includes Reservationists, Housekeeping Managers, Maintenance folks, Quality Control teams, and third-party housekeepers, private chefs, massage therapists, etc.
