Stay in a charming townhouse in the heart of Amboise, set on one of the town’s most beautiful streets, between the Royal Château and Clos Lucé. In a quiet and privileged setting, the house offers 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a private shower room and toilet, a warm living space with a fully equipped kitchen, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Everything is walkable—landmarks, restaurants, shops, and scenic Loire walks. An ideal base for families or friends exploring the Loire Valley.

This charming townhouse in Amboise, spread over three levels, combines elegance, modern comfort, and an exceptional location.

The bright living area includes a cozy lounge and a fully equipped open kitchen, perfect for preparing and sharing meals after a day exploring the Loire Valley (stovetop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, full set of cookware and dishes).

The house has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private shower room and toilet, offering comfort and privacy:
2 bedrooms with double beds (55 in / 140 cm)
1 bedroom with a queen bed (63 in / 160 cm) and a single bed, ideal for a family

A fantastic place to stay in Amboise. Great host,very responsive and helpful. The place is absolutely perfect for a family. Very comfortable, had great AC in every rooom. Beautiful views from the main room window and easy walking to all sites. Definitely stay here.

This location and the overall design of the home is wonderful. The interior is very cozy and bright, and the rooms were spacious. Restaurants, cafes and shops are very close by. Amazing property and very responsive host.

Excellent location in the town of Amboise, an easy walk to the heart of town. The house had lots of charm and plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group of 7. The air conditioning was a huge plus considering the heat wave this summer. Communication and check-in/check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The early check-in time was a huge plus. Luggage was a little challenging to get to the apartment from the parking lot since it was uphill but I’m sure the host could have clarified a better drop off for luggage if we had asked. Overall a great stay.

We loved our experience and Vincent is a wonderful host!! The townhome is very spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed and then some. Walking distance to (2) Chateaus, shops, cafes, bakery's etc. Would love to visit again with a longer stay and enjoy the town of Amboisse a little more. "Charming" is the best description and thank you so much Vincent for your communication and hospitality!Merci Beaucoup!!

Great location close to town, chateaus, restaurants and shopping. Plenty of room for 5 adults and washer drier were very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this conveniently located house — check in was very easy, walking around town was great, very comfortable and lots of space as long as you are ok with stairs!

Perfect location!

We really enjoyed this place. It had so much character and was perfect for exploring Amboise and beyond. The "cave like" environment took some getting used to, but it ended up being our favorite place to stay out of our 2 week vacation. Well recommended.

This was a charming home that was very comfortable and convenient for our family of 6 staying there. We appreciated the homey details and provision of games for the family to enjoy. Some of the spaces were a little tight, but that’s to be expected with a renovated historic building. The host was friendly, flexible, and responsive. We enjoyed our time here!

Perfect Location and Layout

We absolutely loved our stay at this Amboise home! Steps away from Leonardo da Vinci's chateau, easy walking distance to center city, and separate bedrooms and baths for all of our family all made our stay easy and relaxing. Our hosts were so attentive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect location and place for our family. Excellent communication from Alex prior to our arrival. Didn't need to communicate with her while we were there, as the house had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This property was the PERFECT home base to visit The Loire Valley for a few days. All the most significant chateaux are an easy drive from Amboise. This house is situated on charming and quiet pedestrian street. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Centre Ville and about 3 minutes to walk to Château du Clos Lucé. The house is even nicer in person than in the photos. Vincent, the host, was extremely responsive before and during the visit. It is easy to unload your car in front of the house and to park in a 24-hour free lot less than 5 minutes walking distance. Our party was four adults (one couple and two singles) and it was great that we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The only caution I would offer is that there is no bedroom or bathroom on the main floor. There is no way to avoid the circular staircases - but then again, there is no way to avoid the circular staircases in all the chateaux of the Loire, either! We definitely would stay at this property again. It was a great value all around!

Lovely rental and ideal location

This is such a sweet rental! It was clean, quite, comfortable bedding and showers, and had some lovely touches in decorating. The owner was very responsive. The location is a short walk to dining, shopping, grocery, and monuments. As long as your party is comfortable with stairs, I highly recommend this wonderful home.

Lovely home in a great location

Our family of four + dog loved our stay in this lovely, quirky and homely townhouse in an ideal location for exploring all that Amboise has to offer. The layout of the house and particularly the three bathrooms was perfect for us and our teenagers. The hostess was very quick to respond to our queries and the check-in process could not have been easier. We hope to return.

One of the BEST places our family has stayed! The owner is so kind. The house is decorated with thoughtfulness. We were there during Easter time and she decorated it for the Easter season! Wonderful location. Can’t recommend enough!!

Ambrosia in Amboise

We absolutely loved staying at Alexandra’s house in Amboise. The location, ambience, highend finishings and a 20 minute walk from the train station: all was well, even with a construction project down the road toward the Chateau Royal. I’ll say it again: we absolutely loved our stay in Amboise—unfortunately not for anyone with mobility issues

Great location & venue!

Communications with host are easy and excellent - very accomodating! Location is ideal for easy walking access, whether to the chateau or to Clos du Luce. Guests must be comfortable with negotiating stairs, but is in every other way an excellent venue. It has a very functional kitchen, of which we made good use. It, and Amboise in general, is a great base for exploring the Loire Valley.
