The tent is located in Richmond Basin off the Imogene Pass jeep trail between Ouray and Telluride, Colorado. Situated in a gorgeous meadow, the 16x24 tent is pitched on a deck May through October and outfitted with bunks, a table, LED lanterns which can also charge devices, chairs and a wood burning stove. Bring your own bedding. We charge $75/person/night, $25/dog/stay and chef/owner caters breakfast and dinner at your convenience. In the spring you ski or hike to the property from Camp Bird Road. Spring skiing or snow shoeing is spectacular. The road to the property is open late June or early July through October and is off road ready, high clearance 4WD or you can hike or bike in. There are many incredible waterfalls on site. The summer months bring wildflowers galore and lots of wildlife, along with great hiking on the surrounding 13 and 14 thousand foot peaks. Ouray and all of its amenities are a quick seven miles away.

About Susie Taylor
I fell in love with this property and now live here in the backcountry year around. It is my desire to share this uniquely spectacular and secluded setting with others. We live in a cabin about 200 forested yards from the tent.

I can't say enough about how amazing an experience this was. The tent is great, the food was even better, and the location is as good as it gets! Thanks Eric!
Great quit get away
Eric and Susie are some of the most hospitible people we have ever met. Great food great advice on hikes and the area. Eric even watched our dogs while we hiked MT Sneffels!
We will be back for sure!!! Can’t beat how quiet and private the yurt is. The view of the stars in the evening sky is amazing! Would highly recommend
Wow. Exceeded expectations. Tent was as advertised.
My 13 year old son and I had a fantastic experience! First time to go "glamping" and they absolutely spoiled us. I expected to lose weight on the trip but was pleasantly disappointed. Lol. Susie and Eric couldn't have made our stay any better. Imagine piping-hot brownies delivered to your lawn chair while you gaze at mule deer and elk in the meadows. We can't wait to schedule another trip.
Our property has many incredible waterfalls, jaw dropping wildflowers and offers unparalleled peace and quiet. It is located about 1/2 mile off of the famous Imogene Pass section of the Alpine Loop. For skiers the terrain is world class has something for every level, beginner to advanced, powder to corn snow, couliors to glades.
