Independent apartment for 4 people on the ground floor of the owner's house on wooded and enclosed land located in Ver sur mer 200 meters from the sea. Tennis, mini golf opposite, pony club sailing school in season. Accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Site of the landing beaches, near Arromanche, Courseulles, Bayeux, Port en Bessin and Caen.

All comfort: living room with equipped American kitchen: oven, electric hob, fridge, microwave, grill, coffee maker, toaster, iron, flat screen tv, English channels, DVD player, board games. Washing machine. 2 bedrooms with tv, one with a 140 cm bed plus a baby bed and one with two 90 cm beds. 2 bathrooms with wc, one of which is adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Necessary for baby: Changing mat, high chair, potty.
Terrace, garden furniture, parasol, barbecue, enclosed grounds.
Car parking on the property

Household linen provided (tea towels, hand towels and sheets). Beds made on arrival.

We are 4 adults with 1 disabled adult . This is a great accessible cottage . Swimming pool is a bonus 👌 Would recommend for all including familys Well equipped, everything you need . Perfectly located next to the British DDay memorial. Would definatly stay again .

Very nice property

We had wanted to visit the British memorial at Ver-sur-Mer and found this property on VRBO. It was exactly as described, clean and well presented. It would be ideal for people with reduced mobility as it is on one level with a generously sized accessible bathroom. The sea is only a short walk away, and the memorial is close by.The concierge service was especially good, and Dominique was an exemplary host. We would happily recommend this property for couples or families as an ideal place to stay in this area.

Perfect for the four of us - 3 adults and a 2 year old. House convenient to everywhere we wanted to visit. Warm when needed. All cooking / cleaning facilities available. Hosts who live upstairs greeted us generously and were available if needed.

Fantastic location

The lower portion of the home is where we stayed while the owner was in the upper portion. It was perfect for our needs with 3 beds and 2 washrooms. The location was perfect for seeing all the WW2 D-Day beaches and a short drive to so many other sites and museums! We were ther for 5 days and had more we could have done. The home was well equipped with enough towels for all 4 of us, shower gel and a nice welcoming basket with local apple juice, pear cider and biscuits (cookies). All were very delicious!

Great accommodations on the beaches of Normandy

We were in France visiting our exchange student and traveled to visit the beaches of Normandy. Catherine's home is beautiful.You have access to a lovely garden were we sat outside and had dinner an played cards. The lower floor of the home is all yours with 2 large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. It is well cared for and decorated with love. We had a great time in Normandy and this was the perfect place. I would recommend it to anyone traveling through the area!

Wonderful property , great location.

We spent a week here visiting the D Day beaches . The property is in a wonderful location and there is so much to see in the surrounding areas, such a beautiful part of France. The property itself was more than we had hoped for, my husband is in a wheelchair and the accessibility was really good, a ramped entrance and plenty of room to move around easily inside the living area , bedroom and huge wet room.. The owners are a lovely couple who live in the upper part of the property’, they were very helpful and friendly. They had thought of everything , the property is very well equipped and spotlessly clean., we also had a welcome basket of local cider, apple juice and biscuits. There is a lovely heated indoor swimming pool and just a short stroll across the road is gold beach where you can walk for miles, there’s also a really good restaurant in the village, but you do need to book . We really enjoyed our stay here and are planning to go back again. Highly recommended.

Die Ferienwohnung ist toll gelegen, in einem kleinen Ort direkt am Meer. Trotz der Lage ist Ver-sur-mer kein überlaufener Touristenort, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat.Die Ferienwohnung entsprach der Beschreibung. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, auch mit einem kleinen Präsentkorb (vielen Dank dafür). Die Wohnung war sehr ordentlich und mit Liebe für's Detail eingerichtet. Alles, was wir benötigten, war vor Ort. Das großzügige Gartengelände durften wir nutzen. Der Indoor-Pool hat uns großen Spaß gemacht.Es gibt sehr wenige Kritikpunkte. Die alten Holzmöbel müffeln ein wenig nach Vergangenheit, das muss nicht jeder mögen. Auf den Betten konnten wir nicht optimal schlafen, aber das ist vielleicht eine Frage der Gewohnheit.Checkin/Checkout sind über eine Conciergerie organisiert. Der Empfang klappte gut (Telefonanruf 15 Minuten vor Ankunft). Für den Checkout muss man am Tag zuvor telefonisch die Abreisezeit melden. Als wir am späten Nachmittag anriefen, war niemand erreichbar. Hier wäre ein besprechbarer Anrufbeantworter (mehrsprachig!) und/oder ein E-Mail-Kontakt wünschenswert. Die Firma war am Abreisetag erst 9 Uhr erreichbar. Dort war man sauer, dass wir eine halbe Stunde später abreisen wollten. Die Firma scheint keinen Überblick über die Vermietung der betreuten Wohnungen zu haben, denn bis 11 Uhr muss man abgereist sein.Das ist ein Kritikpunkt, der an die Firma geht, nicht an die Vermieter, die stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit waren!Danke für einen tollen Urlaub!

excellent séjour en tous points !

L'accueil fut excellent ! les propriétaires charmants et toujours a notre écoute en cas de besoin et d'une discretion absolue. Très bon emplacement tant au niveau de la distance a la mer (environ 300m) que des sites du Débarquement , surtout Anglo-Canadiens..Le jardin est très agréable, très bien entretenu totalement clos (idéal si on a un chien, comme nous ), et équipé de chaises longues et de jardin Il y a aussi une petite terrasse elle aussi équipée d'une table et de chaises... Bref excellent séjour et nous recommandons vivement cette location +++++
