Amusement park fans will love this quaint, brick ranch 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in the most beautiful neighborhood in Huron, Ohio - MINUTES away from Cedar Point and the Lake Erie Islands. This property is nicknamed the "EAST" side home because there is an exact replica of this home next door. If this home is booked, look for the other home that is just like this one called "West Plum Brook Home." Both of these homes are all in one building, but are separated by two garages (each unit has access to one 2-car garage); there are NO COMMON living space walls. Please note that there is a shared driveway, but that each guest has his or her own side of the driveway, as it is wide enough for two sets of cars. 10 minutes, 6.3 miles away from Cedar Point, 5 minutes and 3.2 miles from Sports Force, and 7 minutes and 3 miles from Kalahari Resort. Escape to Lake Erie in this comfy, cozy home. It's your home-away-from-home! Big backyard, quiet, safe neighborhood, beautiful park right across the street - there's not much more that a VRBO guest could ask for. Guests can use the front and back yards, and every room in the house. I live a few doors down from this home, and am almost always available. I will be doing check-ins and check-outs when I'm available to ensure that the guest count matches the reservation. New furniture, linens, flooring and paint.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please remember to: -take trash out to the bin on the side of the house, -wash and put away all dishes, and, -place towels in the washer.
Please also lock the front door upon your departure.
There is no need to do anything with the bed linens, but let me know if there were any beds that were not used so we can conserve water and energy by not laundering unused bedding.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
1st and last names of EACH guest staying on property are required, including minors. Guests unwilling to give host all names will not be approved.
Guests must sign a Rental Agreement within 72 hours of booking.
Dogs are $35/night, per dog. VRBO website doesn't have capability to charge guests for more than 1 dog. Additional dog fees will be sent separately.

Amazing Family Property

Stayed here for a week with our teenagers and our dog. Loved the proximity to Sandusky’s attractions and restaurants. Loved having the extra space and bathrooms! The dog park across the street was a super nice perk to have the dog get some energy out as well! The rental was super clean and provided all the amenities we needed for the week. Will definitely stay here again!

Great location, great experience

Jenni was a great host, and the place was very nice. It’s an older home, but with lots of neat modern updates. It was perfect for our family staying there for a week for a dance competition. They’re also pet friendly, which allowed us to bring our two dogs. Our pets enjoyed the dog park right across the street very much. It was one of the nicest dog parks I’ve ever been to! The house itself had plenty of room and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable week. Definitely would stay again!

Perfect space for the 4 of us. Close to Sports Force Park and Cedar Point. Loved the locker island in the kitchen. Jennifer our owner was a great pen pal and always answered questions or concern leading up to stay and I was relieved when her sense of humor came through in her emails. Made it easy to communicate and not feel all business like. I wish we could have stayed longer and if we ever head that way for sports or vacation...this is where I want to stay.

Family Cedar Point Trip

We found the property was quite good for the Cedar Point trip for our daughter's Boston family and us. We were disappointed to find that the gas grill shown in the property description had been replaced by a very small charcoal grill. We were informed that prior renters had damaged the gas grill. This definitely put a crimp into our planned outdoor cooking. Additionally, we found that some silverware and utensils were not sufficiently cleaned by the prior renter. Because of this, my wife felt it necessary to wash all of the silverware and dishes before we used them. Suggest that the cleaning team be responsible for cleaning the dishes and silverware. Presently, this is the renter's responsibility.

Great home near Cedar Point

Wonderful home! Beautiful decor! Owners have thought through every little detail. They even have a rack with brochures of things to do in the area. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. Home was very clean. Quiet, nice neighborhood. I would definitely recommend!!

Cute and Comfortable

My family of four stayed at this property while visiting Cedar Point. Very affordable for all that was provided: clean, comfortable, quiet, well maintained, and in close proximity to what we wanted to do. Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores were less than 5 miles away. Jennifer was very responsive by text, and gave excellent recommendations for local dining. We appreciate the stay and highly recommend this property.

It was a really nice well kept property I really liked the magazine that included coupons. The one tv 4 for people i thought would be aproblem but it actually allowed us to spend more time together as a family. We played board games and played outside in the huge back yard. The park being so close ,was great as well. Cedar point being 15 min away was awesome along with all the grocery stores. Overall great stay.

Very lovely and inviting home in a nice and quiet area

This house was like a home away from home! A top priority for us in renting this home is that we were able to bring along our 6 year old Boston Terrier. This home accommodated 6 adults quite comfortably with the 3 bedrooms. We did bring a couple of lawn chairs for extra seating, but it really wasn't necessary as the dinning room table had plenty of chairs to use. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely and peaceful. The location of this home was the best as we were within minutes to all sorts of food, shopping and entertainment. The decor of the home is current and really nice. The amenities were great! There was a Keurig coffeemaker with supplies in the kitchen. There was also shampoo, conditioner and body wash available for use in the bathrooms. Then there was supplies for doing a couple of loads of laundry. Another wonderful part of this property is that the garage was able to hold 2 cars easily. It was nice to be able to park in the garage every evening. The owner of this property is very nice and considerate and is available to contact anytime. Their communication and response time is impeccable. We come to the Lakeside/Marblehead almost yearly to visit family and always rent a home, after staying here this will definitely be our 1st choice if it's available for our dates.

We love getting to know new people, which is why transient rentals appeal to us. Our listings appeal to guests because of their proximity to one of the world's largest amusement parks, Cedar Point.

This property was perfect for multiple guests because there is plenty of room, and boasts a 5-STAR rating on a competing website Enjoy the HUGE backyard during the summer, including having use of a charcoal BBQ. This property was remodeled in the Fall of 2017, and offers a clean, new setting including NEW wall-to-wall flooring, bathroom vanities, paint, and new furniture throughout.
