What a wonderful retreat in the woods! We loved our weekend in this immaculate, thoughtfully-appointed home. At night, the stars were amazing, and during the day we could see glimpses of the lake through the trees.10/10 would come back in the future!

The property was perfect and as described. It is especially nice for families.The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We even had access to the local marina and swimming area, which we took advantage of. Yosemite entrance is about a 35 to 40 minute drive and highly accessible. I would stay here 100 times over!

Well equipped home / kitchen. Clean and a great location to the neighborhood amenities. The drive to the Yosemite gate took us about 35 minutes.

Overall it was a nice property and a great place to stay for a trip to Yosemite. The game room, BBQ grill and fire pit made it extra fun for our family. The kitchen was well equipped. It basically had everything we needed and at a beautiful location. The only things is on the listing it said 2 minute walk to the lake... I'm not sure how you would do that (we tried, but it seemed like we would have to walk through other properties - maybe we just went the wrong way). And one thing that could have been more clear upfront... non-owners can not park on weekends/holidays at the marina. That caused us some confusion when we saw that sign until we realized that you could park on the street outside the marina and walk in. It would be good to make that clear on the listing, just to avoid confusion, since the marina/beach area is one of the main attractions in the area (and the first picture in the listing).

Thank you guys for staying, glad you enjoyed the property and food prep amenities. Everyone staying as a visitor does have to use one of the 3 lake access beaches, and on weekends in the summer the parking lot at the marina is limited to home owners, Dunn ct and the lake lodge and fisherman’s cove parking lots are open to everyone. We really perfer the lake lodge beach. Also you are correct there is no 2 minute walk to lake access from our house it’s about 15 mins depending on if you walk out the front of the property or down the hill to skyridge. We usually drive and park when accessing the beaches. Glad you guys enjoyed your stay sorry for any confusion please come visit us agian.

Great Place To Stay

We had a wonderful time here - definitely recommend it for families. We had lots of space and loved playing ping-pong and even had a friendly deer help us with our cornhole game. The pizza place down the road is amazing!

Great Family Trip

Loved having A/C during our stay, we used he house as home base for our trip to Yosemite. Plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. Great games for the family, pool table and cornhole were a big hit!

We loved it! Everything was clean and as described. We loved taking the water taxi, George was awesome! Only property owners can park in the main marina on the weekends but the taxi was easy to use to get there.

Beautiful and spacious cabin.

The property was beautiful and spacious with lots to do inside. Our rental car broke down but we still had a blast staying in the area playing pool and darts thank you for allowing us to spend time in your lovely home.

Thanksgiving in Yosemite

This was a perfect getaway for our family. We spent a memorable Thanksgiving visiting one of God’s most beautiful creations. The kitchen was perfect for us to prepare a beautiful Thanksgiving spread and we spent the rest of the week hiking, exploring, and making memories! Awesome property and amazing hosts!

Nice cabin as base camp for Yosemite

Overall, the cabin met our needs and the host was responsive to issues that arose. Listing is accurate as to space and amenities.

Spacious and serene

We really enjoyed the views from the deck, the deer that come right up to rest on the property. The property is 5 minutes from the Marina/beach. Great place for a peaceful getaway.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location was easy to find, and very peaceful. The kitchen had all the equipment, utensils etc. we needed to prepare meals. The owner was easy to reach, and was readily available to accomadate a change in our schedule.

Wonderful lake vacation

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and the property lived up to the 10 ratings! Everything was perfect and true to the listing. Was one of the most comfortable rentals we have stayed at and had everything we needed and more. It was great to be there during the week as weekends get crowded and renters cannot park at the marina. We plan to come back!

GREAT VACA HOME

We loved the location, the trees, game room. Everything we needed was there and more. Very well planned for us to enjoy. Kitchen was nice to work in and the plates, etc. were very nice. The owner set a high standard for rentals.

Nature(lly) Wonderful at Blacktail Pines

This is a great property if you want to get away from it all, but still have all the comforts of home! Everything you need for a great vacation is here either at the house (pool table, ping pong, horse shoes, darts, board and card games) or in the vicinity (lake, boating, pool, horseback riding, golf and the amazing Yosemite)! We really had a great time and will come back soon!
