Perfect location. Amazing views. Apartment is tired and needs a lot of love
The location is perfect. The views are stunning with a panoramic set of glass doors which give you masses of view. Very convenient for shops, pubs and beach.
The rooms were comfy and the bedding clean and fresh. Plenty of hot water and linen provided.
However, lots of things were sub-standard
There kitchen needed a very good clean, many things were broken, glasses mismatched and missing, basic things like can opener broken and defective. There was no light in the utility room as the fitting was broken, the vacuum totally reeked like a wet dog. Toilet seat falling off, maintenance called as the balustrade around the balcony was broken and missing. (They came and repaired this quickly, but I didn’t want to be dealing with these issues on my holiday).
A property that sleeps 8 should have 2 allocated car parking spaces as there is virtually nowhere to park for a week in Woolacombe.
The house feels like it’s been furnished from stuff bought at jumble sales and needs a bit of TLC. Considering the cost to stay for a week, it’s not good value for money. Such a shame as the location and potential is awesome.
