Featuring 5 bedrooms, you'll find the first bedroom on the first floor with 2 singles joined by a hall bath and the laundry. The second level offers 3 more bedrooms, including a king master bedroom with private bath, and two bedrooms that share a hall bath (queen, pyramid and double w/trundle). Step out onto the deck to enjoy the bubbly hot tub where you can soak your worries away. Also on this level is the cozy den with TV/DVD and comfortable seating for the group. In addition to the water views, the top level boasts a second master bedroom (queen) and the great room with kitchen, dining and seating area featuring TV/Blu-ray entertainment center. Book today and live the HI life at HI VIEW this year.

The location was great and the house looked wonderful but when we went inside a lot of items were broken or not kept up.

Reality

Will never book with surf and sound again. The house describes the location much closer to the ocean it’s actually closer to route 12, all the smoke detectors were unhooked and hanging when we arrived there was food all over the dining room table and coffee table. They don’t tell you no linens are provided thank god I called before hand they don’t provide pier passes like ALL the other companies we’ve used. Part of check out is making sure the dishes are in the dish washer yet no soaps of any kind are provided, no toilet paper, no hand soap, trash bags. Communication was ridiculous because I wasn’t going to download the app since it was our first time booking with them then getting them to answer the phone was a joke . We go to outer banks EVERY year for the past six years this was by far our worst experience

Sandy ties and moldy house

We loved that we got to check in early, but the house was not the cleanest. We also saw several areas where mold was growing. There was a leak in the living room with mold growing. There was mold around lighting and vents. Several of us got soar throats and coughed during our stay. I hope someone has looked into this problem. We also would recommend a better cleaning team. Bathrooms still had tooth paste remnants on walls and sinks. We were missing some pillows and bedding. The bedding was replaced, but we never got the missing pillow. Surf or Sound did give us a new propane tank when ours ran out and we’re very prompt in responding to our questions. We did enjoy our vacation and plan to return next year, but not to Hi View.
