This home gave our family exactly what we didn’t know we needed—true rest, connection, and joy. We stayed with kids ranging from 1 to 19, and somehow everyone had an amazing time (which says a lot!). The home is spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection. There’s something for everyone! The kitchen is fully stocked, beds are super comfortable, and the layout makes it easy to gather or spread out. We cooked big meals in the fully equipped kitchen, watched sunsets from the deck, and made the kind of memories you always hope to make on vacation. And the host? Incredible. Communication was fast, friendly, and helpful throughout. We felt taken care of every step of the way.This wasn’t just a rental—it felt like home. The beach house was amazing, clean, and close to a wonderful ice cream place. You could easily walk to the beach or drive to a public access beach. We loved the location in Salvo. For our family of 4, this house was everything we needed and allowed us to relax and love vacation.

This beach cottage was the perfect get away for our girls weekend with my sister, mom and daughter. The home was very clean and decorated in a cute beach theme. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the Northern part but close enough to enjoy a day trip. Walking or driving to the beach on the ocean and sound side were nice and close. Washing sand off from the beaches was no problem with the outdoor shower. Finding things to do and where to eat were easy because there were plenty of suggestions left in a neatly organized binder for guests. We really enjoyed our stay in this nice, quiet part of the Outer Banks and had fun exploring the surrounding areas both North and South of the rental. Thank you Dylan for being a great host and getting back to me promptly. We highly recommend this property and hope future guests have just as much of a fun and relaxing trip as we did.

House was great. View was blocked by dunes. A bit of a walk to the beachon sand. Walk isn't great for people who are handicapped. Rooms and amenities met all our needs.

Enjoyed a wonderful beach vacation with family/extended family (adults, teenagers). Our first time on OBX and can’t wait to return. Highlights: - Property is large and we had plenty of space to spend time together or alone time. - Beach is amazing, midsummer with tons of room to spread out and enjoy the coastline. Have to love places where you can head to the beach whenever you want and still find a great ocean front spot to pull up a chair. - Very quiet area of OBX, nice neighborhood. - Lots of features for all to enjoy rain or shine: large kitchen, great room, multi-story decks, entertainment room with pool table, theater room, pool, hot tub. If you don’t like sand, the home has everything you want for a stay-cation. Wish list: - Rental is probably better suited for people traveling by car. For the price of the rental, it was really sparse on basic household items, eg no hand towels or travel soaps in the bathrooms, no starter spices or condiments in the kitchen, no beach equipment. We used the towel service but those too were quite limited and very scratchy, poor quality. The property manager was clear when we emailed ahead of time, so the listing is on point. No complaints there. If it’s not stated, it won’t be there. Unfortunately, as we were traveling by air, it’s an annoying ask to pack those extras or buy a number of things you need for a week and won’t bring home.

Excellent location to the beach, relaxing and private pool area with hot tub and a well appointed kitchen! Thoughtful and practical decor to enhance your stay including board games/books and an amazing sun room that our family loved! Walk or bike to a local ice cream shop too!

We had a fantastic stay at your beach house! Everything was as described. Host was very friendly and responded to all questions / concerns I had. Walk to beach was short. Only issues we had was transporting the storage wagon over the dunes, but that wasn’t too bad. There was one area walking to the beach, through the path between the homes, where a large concrete stone was protruding from ground. Whoever walks through there should be mindful not to hit with foot, as my brother did, or you may get injured. This is not hosts responsibility but just mentioning it for whoever is reading this to pay att. Plenty of activities and restaurants right on Hateras Island. This was our first trip to OBX and we all had a great time! We had 3 children with us and the house was well equipped with books, tV programs and safe for them to wander without getting into any trouble (well equipment child gate on top floor and latched gates on all levels of the outside decks.) The beach itself was perfect for me and my brother, since we love swimming through the waves. The day beach area about 2 miles away was perfect for all members of our family. We must have walked out over 200 yards and water was still only up to my knees. There is an amazing water park about an hour away on route 158 which we utilized for 1 entire day. The NC Aquarium is not too far away either and nice spot to visit with family. Hope to stay again next year or whenever my family is free again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Easily one of the best beach houses we have stayed in. It has everything you need and more. Everything is new and in great condition. The pictures don’t do it justice. We spent most of our time on the deck. The picnic table was great and the hammock chairs were so comfortable that we even ordered one for home. The mattresses are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the place was very clean. We would definitely stay again!
