We are sorry to hear of your disappointment wIth your stay at the Forever Young condo, as we pride ourselves on being responsive and hospitable hosts! We are terribly sorry for the trouble the bedbugs caused, as well. We imagine that would be a frustrating thing to deal with, which is why we drove up immediately to address the issue in person and had a professional come the next day. We were happy to offer you a discount. Our initial discount offer was based on your initial report (that matched the professional’s report): only minor bugs, and only impacted 2 days of your lengthy stay. When you told us later that it had impacted more than 2 days, we asked you what you would consider a reasonable discount based on your experience - and then we met your requested offer, so we are surprised and sad to hear that you didn’t feel that was sufficient. Our intentions were to make sure you felt compensated. We are even more surprised to hear that it continued to be a problem throughout your two-months stay, since we had the professional continue to check in and inspect without issue, you didn’t bring additional issue to our attention, and you asked to extend your stay. We wish you would have let us know, so we could have better addressed your needs during your stay to make it more enjoyable. NOTE: We are now on a regularLy scheduled treatment plan to prevent any future issues.
