Great for families with younger kids.

Great place for families with younger kids though the building is a little out dated and can use some work. Elevators are very hit or miss and the parking garage is a little tight. The hottubs on the 7th floor did not get hot or even warm 4 of the 5 days we tried them. Overall good place to stay.

We got our moneys worth

Check in- Having to wait until exactly 4pm to receive the email with the door code is understandable however, instructions on which building the unit is located, where to park and general information on loading and unloading of luggage would have been greatly appreciated. The Unit- Cleanliness was definitely a 5 stars. The king bed wasn’t the most comfortable. My partner and I had to sleep on what felt like a twin size portion of the king due to the caving in in no support on over half the mattress. The water pressure wasn’t very good as well as no hot water in the kitchen. The shower had rust stains but that’s to be expected with the saltwater and salty air. The shower head could really use an update. The ocean and sunrise view was the entire reason we booked this location and OMG it was to die for. Made all the other petty issues almost disappear. The Property- The outdoor pool and play area for the littles was perfect. The indoor pool however was just as warm if not warmer than the outdoor. The hot tub was filled with younger kids and teenagers rough housing. Roof had multiple leaks while raining. Definitely visit the poolside gift shop/foodcourt. The couple who runs it are the most sweetest and helpful ppl. Check Out- The check out process was rather simple. Clean up the dishes, strip all the linen and place in laundry bag. We made sure to put the a/c back to 72 and bring in the patio furniture due to the tropical storm. We would definitely stay here again!!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures make it look bigger than it actually is in person. Once you have the couch folded out there is no room to walk to the balcony. We had to move the chairs all around. Room is very damp even with air conditioning at 68°. The first night there were HUGE roaches in the main bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Like HIGE roaches. The whole place is run down... I hope you like waiting 15mins for an elevator and that’s if it’s working. The main elevators by the garages were broken for a couple days on and off. As long as 5 hours one day and again... waiting for an elevator is ridiculous. Luggage carts are a rarity so if you find one, you’re lucky. Searched all over for one and both unloading and loading back up had to make multiple trips due to no luggage carts to be found. Everyone I talked to complained about the same issues. A few people I spoke with were leaving early bc the place was so run down and dirty.

The view!

Short stay. Came for the ocean! The view of the ocean is what it’s all about. Read the reviews they will help you prepare. Bring whatever you would if you were camping. Kitchen does have the basics, pots, pans, utensils etc. For our short stay there were plenty of clean towels, blankets and bedding. You’ll want to bring, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, anything disposable you like to use. An upgrade on the beds/mattress are my only suggestions.

Good place to rest your head

Good place to rest your head. The only few problems we had was upon entering the room, it smelled old. Definitely think the air conditionings need a good cleaning, especially the one in the living room (it smelled the most, didn’t even turn it on the whole time we were there) . The front door is not sealed on the top or bottoms so you can hear the wind and see the light from the hallway come into the room. Be prepared to make your own bed and hang your own towels once you get to the property. Be sure to read that paper products are not provided, that’s also including hand soap and dish soap. Bed and couch could definitely use some upgrades. The plus side is the room is the last one on the floor so you only have one neighbor. It didn’t bother us but might bother some, people smoke lots of weed and you can smell it from the balcony. Other than those few things, everything was fine. Check in was easy and staff was friendly.

Great stay

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came down for spring break. This was not the original condo we had booked. It was definitely smaller than what we had planned however it was great for the week! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely rent from this condo again.

Clean, quick & easy

Caravelle was a nice, last minute stay for us. Our unit was a wonderful unit. The sleeper sofa was broken, but maintenance acted quickly to offer to fix it. We declined, since the kids would be fine sleeping on the mattress on the floor. There was a Murphy bed available, but the kids didn't want to use it (IDK why). The unit was on the end, so no foot traffic. The unit was clean & very nice. The outdoor pool was semi heated & the indoor pool was very nice. They have 3 hot tubs, but beware...children under 14 swarmed it & security never cared, so relaxing is not going to happen. There was a LOT of marijuana being smoked all over the property, both inside & out.

Our stay was so great! Very clean and perfect view of the ocean. We also enjoyed the hot tub area. The only thing is that was a little inconvenient was not providing paper products. I feel that with the amount of money we paid, it would have been nice to have paper products and other necessities provided.

Little piece of heaven

Everything was perfect. Great location. The room was as the pictures show. We really enjoyed staying in this condo and hated to leave. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us. Thank you for making our trip easy and enjoyable

Great Vacation Overall

Property location was great, right by the ocean on the 10th floor. The property seemed clean but the next morning of our vacation we found a huge dead cockroach in the living room behind the TV. I got the broom and dustpan and disposed of him in the trash outside the condo. We checked the sheets every night after that just to be sure there wasn't any bugs in our bed. We stayed for another 3 nights or so and then we saw another dead cockroach in the bedroom. On our final night, we saw a small one crawling in the bedroom. I smashed it with a paper towel and we decided we were not going to sleep their another night. So we left at 11:30pm to travel back home. I believe that if there wasn't a trash can right outside the condo, (I seen multiple cockroaches our last night crawling around the trash can) the cockroaches wouldn't have been an issue. Normally, there is a dumpster somewhere outside of the property were you dispose of your trash.

Great summer spot

This was a good experience. It can get difficult using a 3rd party because they can be limits to your stay, but there was a lot of information with expectations. Overall this was a great stay!

Great view, not worth it

The online pictures don’t show just how old and fairly dirty the property itself is. The carpets throughout were old and stained, the elevators were hot and took forever and every time we walked out of our room/down a hallway/on the main floor, it smelled like weed. Our room was NOT clean when we got there. There was a fake nail, dry pasta and other lint/dust on the ground in plain view, just under a desk. A simple clean job would have found that. Also, the floors were covered in sand/dirt. Nothing is worse than getting out of the shower and having your feet be dirty from the floor! In the “info” sheet they send you, there’s even a disclaimer about not getting a discount because of the room not being clean (among other things). It’s like they’ve had complaints before about the hired cleaning company. I thought that was odd but never thought it would be an issue, considering the price. The policy of not having the sheets on the bed (unless you want to be charged) is absurd. Any other rental/hotel has this service provided. Also, every other rental we have stayed in, have been super hosts and provided paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap etc. This one did not. In general, the view from the balcony was beautiful, but everything else was not worth the money….and it was expensive for just the weekend. Don’t waste your money.

Very pleased

Condo was exactly as pictured. Love that it was on the end! Pools were very busy and elevators are annoying but other than that we had an amazing trip and have no complaints! We’d deff book here again, Beach was clean, tiki bar was great for us parents and the kids loved the Italian ice stand on the property!

Wonderful stay

From the first view from the balcony, we were hooked! Loved the private beach and the hot tub and the pool. Walking distance from several restaurants and short drive to some delicious seafood! Unfortunately the 2nd pool was under construction and we weren't able to use it. But all in all it was a nice relaxing stay!

3 Night Stay in June at Myrtle Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The people at Ocean Breeze Beach Vacations, Inc are awesome to work with. Very friendly and the arrival and departure process is so easy and convenient. The Caravelle Resort is fine but the location is amazing. Ocean Breeze delivers all the linens and towels wrapped and sanitized which is very reassuring. The beds in our unit were very old and very soft and should be updated. The ocean view and beach access are why we stay at the Caravelle. For the volume of people who stay at this resort, they do a good job keeping up with keeping the property clean and safe. Have recommended Ocean Breeze and the Caravelle to friends and family

Pictures in VRBO did not match location

This layout was not what was represented on VRBO. The back door does not shut at the bottom, unless you push the bottom of the door. The unit smelled like urine. There was mold on the wall in the top corner where the Murphy’s bed was. Murphy bed wasn’t in the description for the rental. I did not know or read the fine print, which I should have as that they did not provide amenities like soap, dish liquid paper towels or toilet paper, but really….no toilet paper to start with. I almost s…my pants. like they couldn’t provide at least a starter roll?….Very disappointed with the rental and will not book here again….worst experience ever at a VRBO…

Loved the room

The room was accurately listed, clean, and we absolutely loved our vacation time. The balcony was cozy and had a great view. We enjoyed having a room at the end of the hallway. Very cutely decorated and beach themed! The bed was very soft and comfortable.
