"Second Wind" Bellamente renovado 5 BR casa con acceso a la playa! Preciosas vistas al mar!

A pasos de la playa, ¡Second Wind es un pedazo de cielo en la tierra! Abundan las vistas al mar en esta casa elevada de 5 dormitorios. El interior es abierto y espacioso, con mucho espacio para la familia y los amigos. ¡La luz natural inunda el interior de esta casa manteniéndola brillante y soleada durante todo el año! El espacio del porche es perfecto para absorber la brisa marina después de un día de diversión bajo el sol.

El primer nivel tiene un plan de piso abierto con pisos de madera en todo. La cocina fluye hacia el comedor y la sala de estar con armarios empotrados a ambos lados de la chimenea. La sala de estar se abre a un gran porche cubierto con sillas mecedoras Adirondack con vistas al océano. Fuera de la sala de estar, encontrará una barra húmeda y una sala de lavandería de gran tamaño con acceso desde el exterior para mayor comodidad.

Esta casa cuenta con 5 dormitorios y 3 1/2 baños. En el primer piso, el maestro con una cama king tiene un baño privado. Dos habitaciones grandes, una con dos reinas y la otra con un sofá cama y una reina, comparten un baño completo.

Sube las escaleras para encontrar dos dormitorios más, una encantadora habitación con literas y la suite principal. Esta habitación tiene un balcón privado al aire libre con vista al océano, un enorme vestidor, una pared de elementos empotrados para guardar objetos y libros, y un baño principal con una gran bañera, ducha y tocadores dobles. La sala de estar del maestro es la guinda del pastel! Rodeado de vidrio, las vistas al mar son impresionantes. Hay contraventanas de plantación para dejar entrar la luz natural, pero también proporcionan privacidad. Este es el hogar perfecto para sus próximas vacaciones! Ven y haz recuerdos en Second Wind.

Well Located and Well Appointed

Property is well located, near amenities and restaurants at Wild Dunes, and steps from the beach. We enjoyed relaxing with the dogs and the entire family from both the covered and screened in porches

I just wanted to share our recent experience at a property that we booked last-minute. We were lucky to find it, and it turned out to be a great fit for our needs. Although we had never stayed on this island before, we were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience.The property is conveniently close to the beach, although it's worth noting that there's a decent walk through the sand to get to the ideal spot for setting up. This might be something to consider if you have older folks with you. It's located a couple of miles from town, which means it's nice and quiet—perfect for those who prefer a more peaceful setting. However, if you're looking to be closer to restaurants and shops, you'll need to drive.One of the great perks we found was the abundance of beach towels available in the half bath closet, so there's no need to bring your own. Additionally, there's access to the garage, which features a ping pong table—a fun touch that we really enjoyed.Overall, it was a good visit, and we would definitely consider staying there again.

What a find in Isle of Palms! Great house on a beautiful and quiet stretch of beach! No road to cross to access beach - this way huge for us! Would highly recommend it!

Beautiful Property

We fell in love with this house and the location! Everything was perfect! It is a roomy, well-equipped home that is beautifully decorated with an easy, quick walk to the beach. We will be booking this property again soon.

Just the Dunes away from relaxation

Fantastic property every room view of the ocean great porch for coffee, short walk to expansive beach and fantastic dog property with hose for dog and human feet cleaning. Truly a getaway might be our new family go to in November!

perfectly appointed home for a family vacation

We have stayed at Second Wind before. The house has everything needed for a family beach week. The new appliances are fantastic. The yard and house was very clean. The five bedrooms are spread out for privacy.

Great location

House could have been cleaner for sure. We were told we couldn’t check In early because they were deep cleaning. Either they didn’t tell us the truth or they need new house cleaners. Other than needing more cleaning it was great.

Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our family. However, we had a continual problem with one of the alarms that sounded in the early morning hours between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. Despite daily calls to the property management company they were unable to resolve the problem.

What a treat! Beautiful, well-kept, spacious house on the beach

Second Wind was perfect for our Christmas gathering of 3 families including 6 adults and 4 little girls. Three separate and spacious sleeping quarters, a large common space with comfortable furniture and a kitchen stocked with all we needed for holiday baking and meal prep. The linens were fresh and new. The house spotless. The garden tub in the upstairs master suite was a hit with the little girls after they braved the ocean each afternoon. Oh, the giggles as the cousins played in the hot bubbly water!

Great Family location

Good place to stay with family. A little disappointed in we had problems at check-in when the code didn't work; the gas on the grill was empty, etc. I expected more attention to be paid to the little details especially for the money paid. That being said, the property manager took care of the grill within hours and they were easy to work with. We had a great stay especially since we had not been able to be together for over a year. It was nice to be together and in such a beautiful setting.

Excellent house with great amentities

The house was just wonderful. We will come back! The House is well appointed. Two refrigerators! When we come back we will not need to bring any kitchen or beach gear. Great vacation spot. The only negative is with the property managers. The house was not ready on check in day until 5:30PM. So all 11 of us had to wait for cleaning. The oven and refrigerator needed repairs and were not repaired during our stay.

Great location, close to beach

This house was in an awesome location on IOP! Beach was not crowded at all. The house was just a few steps from the beach path and had a nice beach view from the screened in porch. The house itself had a nice layout and good bedroom space. Could use a bit of TLC, the wood floors were very scratched up, and there was a good bit of dirt under furniture etc. Apparently most appliances will be replaced, a new refrigerator was just put in, and a new stove/range is on the way. Top dishwasher rack was broken, and the gas grill outside was barely functional. I’ve paid a lot less for a week at nicer/better kept houses. You are paying for the location when you rent this home.

Fall getaway

This house is in a beautiful and peaceful location on a quiet street with easy beach access and very nice landscaping. The property management was excellent and responsive. The house was ready when promised and check in and out was easy. The house is very well suppled and equipped - definitely exceeding expectations. We like to eat in and cook and the abundant supples were appreciated. Cleanliness on the surface was adequate. A few suggestions: The grill was not particularly clean and not working properly - difficult to start and not fully heating. It probably is due for replacement. We would have liked an outdoor table and some outdoor seating on the abundant decks. The screened in porch is very nice but could also use a table and some additional furnishing. Overall a positive experience for us at the house and recommended without hesitation.

The good, the bad, and the ugly

Nice location. Had trouble getting door code to work but they were very quick at getting us a code that would. I appreciated the quick response to any questions prior to arrival. Everyone has different needs so what matters to us might not be a big deal to others. Our issues- we could not get the electric cooktop to cook well. Even scrambling eggs was an issue. We just had to give up cooking on top. Oven works. Not all dishes were clean- one glass had obviously just been rinsed and some of the silver wear was dirty so we ended up washing everything prior to use. All Guests in spare rooms felt the beds were in need of replacing. Upstairs has a balcony off master but no chairs to sit and enjoy the view unless we wanted to drag kitchen chairs upstairs. It rained a lot on our trip so we played corn hole in garage area. That area is gross! Yes it’s a garage but this one has a bench so obviously they know people hang out down there. And one thing to take not of- You cannot access the house from the garage. You must walk out and up stairs to get into house. Not a big deal unless it’s raining. The biggest issue was roaches. We only saw a few inside the house but outside was not good! Shoes, ice chest, bags- we could not leave anything out without roaches all over it. In saying all of that, I’ve stayed in worse, I’ve stayed in better. It’s just hard to spend what I feel is a lot of money and not love where you stayed. Everything I’ve shared is fixable. Could be a great place.
