Casa La Jolla is located in Los Ayala, a charming fishing enclave that's just over an hour north of Puerto Vallarta, and 25 minutes from Sayulita. Nestled between the jungle and the warm waters of the Pacific, it shares its stunning Jaltemba Bay setting with Rincon de Guayabitos and La Peñita de Jaltemba.

Josie was very easy to work with from responding to questions when we were considering her property to inquires before the trip about transpiration to and from her home, check in questions, things to do and recommendations for places to eat. The home is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen to the pool area / beach toys and games on the roof top patio. The pool and yard is well maintained by their Host Ricardo and his wife. There is plenty of hot water and the bedroom's are comfortable with quality linens and towels. We especially enjoyed dining on the outdoor patio many evenings with the ambient lighting in the yard, patio and the pool. We enjoyed our stay in the lovely & friendly little town of Los Ayala. We will definitely consider visiting Los Ayala in the future and will definitely stay at Josie's beautiful home again!

We had a lovely time staying here. The casa is spacious and extremely well appointed, they have thought of pretty much everything. Josefina is an excellent host and was always quick to respond to any questions or issues and provided lots of great information and advice. Los Ayala is a very pretty town and the beach is excellent. We love this place

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Casa La Jolla and it never disappoints! It’s a beautiful home in a really cute little town. Everything you need is within walking distance. Josie is always very easy to get in touch with if we have questions :) Ricardo and Maribel (they look after the property) are lovely and prompt if you need anything or have any issues. Everything again was as enjoyable and comfortable as our first stay. Divine pool to enjoy before and after hikes and walks to beautiful beaches. Casa La Jolla - Los Ayala

This is a beautiful property - complete with private swimming pool and everything to make entertaining family easy. Around the corner from the little town of Los Ayala, the beautiful beach and commuter buses to local markets, it was ideal for rest and relaxation. A beautiful casa in Los Ayala

The property was beautiful in every way. Great care was taken to make every space comfortable and inviting. We greatly enjoyed the heated pool and used it several times a day. The casa was equipped with every possible item that one might need in a home away from home. I really appreciated the beautiful little library and all of the games and activities provided for our pleasure. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at Casa Jolla. We highly recommend it

Paradise in Los Ayala

An absolutely beautiful spot for a 2 week holiday with family. Everything and more was available at the property: pool toys, books, beach toys, card games…just to name a few! The house was even more lovely than its pictures! We enjoyed early morning coffees on the upper deck followed by fun at the beach and afternoons in the glorious pool! We can’t say enough good things about our 2 weeks there! We had a car that allowed us to drive to Rincon de Guaybitos but one could easily walk there too.

Beautiful Oasis

We spent two weeks at La Casa Jolla, we would return again and again. We are two older adults and spent 2-4 hours a day in the pool, it was so great to have your own personal pool to enjoy. The small village of Los Ayala had many great restaurants and beach parties. We walked the 20-25 minutes over to Guayabitos and enjoyed the food and shopping it offered. Josie‘s home offers the perfect Oasis to relax in and we loved that it was stocked with everything we needed and more. Thank you Josie for letting us enjoy your home

Our Los Ayala get away

We enjoyed the property. It is well appointed and the pool is great - nice and warm. My only suggestion is to take some ear plugs as a precaution. The roosters start crowing at 3 am. They seem to move around so some mornings are worse than others.

My wife and I both work remote and wanted to change up the scenery for a bit. So we stayed at Casa La Jolla for 12 days to work, relax and explore the area. Wow! This house was flawless. We had plenty of space and room to both have our own private work areas in different parts of the house. The WiFi was fast and flawless. We never had any issues at all. Some nights we would head into town for dinner and come back home to finish our evening off in the pool or streaming a show in the living room, while other nights we would grab take out and bring it back, and sometimes we would even grab groceries and just cook dinner. Regardless of what we decided to do the house met all our needs. One big thing we always look for in a vacation spot is a place having all the items and utensils we need to enjoy our days and evenings however we choose. Well this place did not lack in any way. The pool was absolutely amazing too. We were in it constantly. It was so inviting, spacious and the perfect temp. This place is absolutely beautiful. It's so spacious, well appointed and well hosted. You can tell that there was so much thought and consideration that went into setting up this vacation home. We would highly recommend it to anyone!

Amazing hidden gem

We had a fabulous time staying at the immaculate property. Everything was amazing. Clean, safe and comfortable. Josie was extremely helpful from arranging a ride from the airport to setting up a chef to come cook for us. She always answered our question or concerns quickly. Everything provided was as the description said. Pool was great and very clean (thanks Richardo) and Maribel did a lovely job preparing the place for us thanks again I hope we will be able to stay but for sure will recommend this gorgeous property to our friends and family!! Fabulous

The property is stunning - the photos do not do it justice. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool. As a note both the master suite and the casita are separate to the main living accommodation. The area around the house is “rustic”, particularly the road which is very uneven and may not be suitable for everyone. Los Ayala is a small, unsophisticated Mexican beach town. We enjoyed breakfast at Erika’s on the beach, dinner at Mawi and drinks and dinner at Barracuda. All in all a very relaxing holiday and a beautiful property.
