Wonderful beach getaway!

Everything from the booking to the check out went smoothly! We would stay here again! Our only negative was the unit that attaches to this unit that can also be rented with this one to make it a 3 bedroom doesn’t have very good sound proofing. It was sometimes like we were staying with the family next door with just a door shut between us and could hear everything from their unit.

The living room furniture could use an upgrade and the are some minor repair to look at but for the main part we love it. Everything is clean and we feel very secure. If there is a problem they are addressed very quickly. We have stayed here for 3 years and plan to return.

Nice room

It could use a little updating, the manager was quick to address the problems but when the heat system failed the last week and a half of our stay it was very unfortunate but they brought space heaters that was good. Our room was not the only one with this problem I would stay there again nice location Ronald Root

Gibson was very easy to work with and responsive to maintenance needs. The condo was clean and they left sand toys for kids. The condo was very dated and is in dire need of an update. The plumbing was problematic as it only had enough hot water for 1 person to have hot shower then everyone else was lukewarm and toliets are tricky as they stop up easily. The pool was huge and very nice. If you have small kids it may be quite a walk to haul all things to beach. If you have older children you will not mind the walk. Tiki bar at Tides was wonderful.

Responses were very fast, courteous, and they answered your questions. Had one small issue with the door lock that was dealt with promptly as soon as I brought it to their attention. Room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for a family of 6. Loved that Walmart was close and could stock up on groceries very easy! Also used Xplorie to play 3 rounds of golf and it was amazingly easy to book and it was free! Would definitely recommend it and likely will return to the exact same location!

Quick Spring break getaway

We love Tops’l so when we found this place available for a trip we took it. Condo is as described. Clean, nice view, and good location. Would definitely rent again.

Spring break trip

Room was clean and check in was easy. My family enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and pools. Until the last fat we were very sure of what we had access to in the TOPS’L community. We had a great time and utilized some of our free activity offers.

The whole condo floors where covered in sand. I had to sweep first thing. Also for future renters the coffee pot does not automatically turn off. So watch that. It gets real hot. Other than these things it was a great place to stay. Quiet, not a long walk to the beach.

August 2020 Stay

We had the best vacation ever here. Our first time to the Destin area. The whole Gibson rental experience was exceptional from pre-arrival to checkout. The room was as described with everything you would need for your stay. We did have a problem with water backup in the master BR tub but that was quickly remediated by the maintenance staff. The walls were thin with the 409A unit as we got knocking on the wall to keep our noise level down even though it was 9pm. Exceptional view of the woods, pool, and gulf. It’s a nice short walk to the beach which we preferred. Good for after dinner walks to the beach. Parking was ample and elevators was always working. Nice to have the grocery carts in the building. Great location for groceries, eating out and activities. Xplorie was the best thing for us on this trip. We took full advantage. Beach was beautiful and having the private beach area next door for walking made it even better. Staff was exceptional. Security guard greeted every morning at the beac

Very helpful property management

We thoroughly enjoyed our last-minute getaway. We were very worried about crowds and cleanliness due to Covid, but we were pleasantly surprised. The beach wasn’t crowded at all in the early mornings when we would take our kids (around 7:30-10). It did get very crowded in the afternoons. Management quickly responded when we had an issue with the bathroom light/fan, and it was fixed in no time. They do a great job!

However, the furniture, appliances, and overall condo are dated and need to be updated. If you are "OK" with walking to the beach and spending the entire day this condo will work great. However, if you need to go back and forth with frequency you probably should consider a location with closer beach access.

Great location

The proximity to the beach, price and overall experience was great! Also, the grounds were well maintained and staff was constantly cleaning the floors, elevators and common areas. I highly recommend!

Beautiful tennis resort!!!

Beautiful condo gorgeous white sand beach. Well maintained tennis courts in a lovely bungalow area with palm trees and Plant life all around. Three great pools with family friendly bars at two pools. Full bar there too. Great property. We will be back.

Best place I’ve stayed

This is the best place I’ve stayed in! Super close to Destin. Very spacious! Perfect for a family. Amazing view! You can’t go wrong with this place. Management is very attentive and everyone is very polite. Easy access to the beach. I will be coming back here and I recommend it 100%
