Spicewood Creek is a delightful and extremely comfortable home for a family getaway. Luxurious and well-equipped, it was the perfect location for exploring Austin and the Texas Hill Country. The huge wrap-around porch and peaceful setting made for an incredibly relaxing trip.

We had family members in nearly every age group and everyone loved the home. Peaceful and beautiful. Floated in the creek in the back and had s'mores have a fire pit. Thank you!!

This was a fantastic property and everything was just like the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay here for an extended weekend. We were able to venture out to Blue Hole in Wimberley, the Pedernales River, and even found time to visit Austin for kayaking in Barton Creek and on the lake, followed up with some nighttime fun in Austin.The house is beautiful and immaculately clean! The property is quintessential Texas Hill Country. You won't be disappointed with this house. Our kids loved the creek and limestone overhangs in the back.

My family and I really enjoyed the property. Especially the water hole. The main area was spacious and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch and sharing meals out there.The second process was rough, I was not able to provide all of the extra policing that they wanted over the chat because of safeguarding on the chat when I'm moving to email, which is not advised by verbo.

Plumbing and WiFi issues. And the swimming hole was not swimmable. And the dirt road to the property was pretty bad. Other than those 4 things, the host tried their best on a holiday weekend and did manage to get the plumbing fixed. They even sent cookies to apologize. Check out instructions lacked a few instructions- got further instructions after we left. The host really tried hard and that was appreciated. The house itself was very nice.

We deeply apologize for the plumbing issues that unfortunately happen at times and we were fortunate enough on a holiday weekend to get a plumber out to quickly fix the issue. WiFi out in the country can be a challenge and we are thankful to have WiFi available. The gravel road that you mentioned is a public road and not our private road. Glad you did enjoy the house.

Amazing retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was really spacious, clean, and has everything you need, and the spring-fed creek and canyon is one of the most beautiful spots in Central Texas. Loved it.

Wonderful

Loved our stay - so convenient and so well appointed. Very comfortable, very clean and we enjoyed every aspect. Even a darling yellow cat came to visit us on the porch occasionally.

Nice quick stay

My husband, daughter and I came for a few evenings. The home was a lovely surprise. It was well maintained and beautifully decorated. It is definitely set up for larger groups and I kept picturing us coming back with the rest of our family. I highly recommend the home for a relaxing stay!

Beautiful home in the Hill Country

What an incredible home. We stayed here with some friends and could not have been happier. The home is beautiful, spacious, and secluded. There is so much space to relax and hang out indoors and out.

Perfect for a group!

Carol was a wonderful and accommodating hostess. The house is spacious, clean and perfect for a group. We enjoyed the swimming hole and all of the nearby activities. We had a small bachelorette getaway and the home was perfect for it. I can't wait to return!

Relaxing

Perfect place to relax with a magnificent wrap around porch and stunning views. My kids loved exploring even if the water was low, which is just part of nature. Would definitely stay again!
