About Oriana Cinquini-Steel
My parents are Italian but I was brought up in the UK. However, my brother and I spent all our summer holidays with family in this maisonette in Pietrasanta and we continue to holiday in La Versilia as adults!
Oriana Cinquini-Steel purchased this Apartment in 1965
Why Oriana Cinquini-Steel chose Pietrasanta
My father is from the mountains close to Pietrasanta and his family moved out of the small mountainous village and settled in Pietrasanta in the late 1960s and chose this charming maisonette as their home and which we also used as a holiday home. At the end of 2012 we decided to renovate the ground floor apartment which we completed in 2013. This apartment and area is very special to us. We also own 2 new villas next door to Apartment Lina - Villa Dodi & Villa Iana (4 bedroom, sleep 8 each) if you are part of a bigger group and need a larger property
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment is spacious and the en suites enable familes/friends holidaying together to have plently of privacy. Apartment Lina is just away from the hussle and bussle of the beachfront but perfectly located to easily enjoy days at the beach and the charm of Pietrasanta old town. I have been returning to Pietrasanta for 40 years as I can't find anywhere else to match it's beauty and charm!
Canceled bookings will not receive a refund
We have recently returned home after spending 2 weeks in Apartment Lina in Pietrasanta. The apartment is beautiful; both well equipped and very comfortable in a lovely peaceful setting. The owners Franco and Romelia are amazing; always available to give any help or advice if needed. Nothing is too much trouble for them to make you feel welcome. It is also handy for the local supermarket which is a few minutes away and only a short car drive or bike ride to the beach. Pietrasanta town is a favourite place to go to admire the beautiful sculpture in the main square as well as all around the town and then to enjoy a coffee or ice cream while you people watch! Pietrasanta is well situated for visiting other towns along the coast as well as inland places such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence. A bike ride round the walls of Lucca is so much fun. We visited Florence by train directly from Pietrasanta the station being only 5-10 minutes walk from Apartment Lina. We highly recommend a holiday in this wonderful town and apartment. A modern, clean and comfortable property.
The property is ideal for families and groups with 3 bathrooms. It is well maintained and benefits from air conditioning throughout. The owners live on site and could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The beautiful town of Pietrasanta and the Versilian coast is easily accessible by bikes which can be hired nearby. Lucca, Pisa and the Cinque Terre are all easily reached by train.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for being such impeccable guests. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in Pietrasanta in the future.
Fabulous accommodation in a wonderful location!
A wonderful week spent in excellent accommodation in a truly magnificent part of Tuscany. I would thoroughly recommend the apartment to anyone who wants a peaceful vacation in an unspoiled part of Italy. The Beach clubs on the coast are an ideal way to soak up the sun , recharge your batteries and it doesn't get much better than an afternoon with a beer in the picturesque square of Pietrasanta. I now live in Australia but made the flight back to Europe for the opportunity to stay in this part of Italy .
Modern and clean appartment in a quiet residential road close to all amenities
We throughly enjoyed our stay at apartment Lina, the apartment is exactly as shown. The air-conditioners came in very handy during the hot days.
The apartment is close to Pietrasanta town and short bicycle ride to beach. We also took a day trip on the boat from Forte Dei Marmi to the Cinque Terra. The Sunday markets at Forte Dei Marmi are also great.
The apartment is very spacious and has every you need. We stayed for 4 weeks and we will be back again. Gianfranco, Romelia and Oriana were great, very welcoming and always available to help.
Loved that we were able to pick homegrown vegetables from Gianfranco's garden. My son enjoyed spending time with Gianfranco and his grandchildren. I will miss my morning chats with him and his wife.
Thank you again Oriana and family for allowing us to stay, we will back next year.
Thanks Carla for your kind words and for being such exceptional guests.. We very much enjoyed having you and your extended family stay in Apartment Lina and we're glad you managed to make the most of the area. My parents are missing your fabulous, chatty and very inquisitive son! Hope to see you again in 2018! Oriana
Wonderful stay and excellent apartment
We spent three weeks in the apartment in July 2017 and we had a wonderful stay (as always in the Pietrasanta area). The apartment was recently fully refurbished, fully equipped and clean. Gianfranco provided excellent customer service. The area is quiet but it is also within walking or cycling distance to the small town of Pietrasanta. When we are in the Pietrasanta area we always rent bikes and would recommend this highly. This was not our last time in Pietrasanta or in the apartment. We will return:-)
Pietrasanta is located in the Northern part of Tuscany on the Versilia coastline. It is a quaint but vibrant town, home to many artists & sculptors; situated between the chic towns of Forte dei Marmi & Lido di Camaiore & Viareggio. Pietrasanta and its environs offer something for everyone; fabulous serviced beaches many of which also have pools, designer shops & markets, fashionable cafes, bars & clubs plus numerous restaurants serving local cuisine and fish specialities. Plus the magnificent Alpi Apuane Natural Park offers relaxing walks with stunning coastline views and natural wonders such as La Grotta del Vento. Pietrasanta is also an excellent base for exploring other cultural gems such as the leaning tower of Pisa, the art museums in Firenze, the medieval walled town of Lucca, the beauty of Siena and San Gimignano. Furthermore, a short ferry ride from Viareggio and you're in Portofino, Portovenere, Lerici or on the famous 'Via dell'amore' walk in Le Cinque Terre.
