Walk 4 miles de la plage vide dans les deux sens ou à vélo sur une route boisée lacées avec millions de foyers dollar. Notre propriété est située dans la section la plus rurale et isolée de la destination la plus désirable du Midwest. Vélos et jouets de plage sont fournis avec cette maison entièrement équipée, qui a été construit pour les locations de grand groupe. Les enfants adorent creuser un trou d'eau à la plage, jouer avec l'étrange maison des jouets en bois ou de regarder des films jusqu'à ce qu'ils s'endorment dans leurs chambres. We loved our stay at Marys Beach House. This is the 2nd year we've stayed here for our annual family vacation. The house is very spacious and clean. Views are stunning and we all loved the beach.

Great Lake views

This rental has a beautiful beach area. We had a fire on the beach a couple of times. We roasted hot dogs and made s’mores. Location is the star.

Best beach in DC

This was our third year, and we enjoyed it as much as we always do. Absolutely the best beach in Door County. The views from the house are stunning. The house is like your grandparent’s well-loved beach house; lots of character. Plenty of rooms for our mini family get-together (7 adults & 1 teen.) The upstairs suite is breathtaking! Coffee on the deck, afternoons on the beach & dinners overlooking the water. Wonderful.

Something for all ages

The beach house was roomy and home for our family of 11. Ranging from age 6 to 71! The view of the lake from inside was spectacular!The deck, which overlooks Lake Michigan was so inviting. Our grands spent most days and evenings on the smooth sandy beach or in the lake. (Life jackets of course) Mary & Ray were available if need be:)Already looking forward to next time!

Mary's beach house is like coming home. It is a comfortable rustic place to stay with everything you need to enjoy your time on the beach. The views are breathtaking and the property is accessible. We had a wide range of ages with the oldest of our party being 89. The porch was their favorite perch and the path to the beach was easy enough for them to walk. If you're looking for a place that fits all ages, this is it.

A great family vacation

Mary's Beach house was the perfect place for a family vacation. Had enough sleeping spaces, enough rooms that if you needed a little quite time, huge deck and wonderful wonderful beach! Laid back, and comfortable for all!

Lake Michigan beach house

The location is wonderful. The beach is wonderful. There was plenty of space in the house for our family gathering. The cleanliness was disappointing.

We were shocked and dismayed that the cleaning job was thought to be unsatisfactory so we called Mary for details. Dust was found under a bed and ash was in the bottom of the Weber grill. A new stopper for the tub was requested and a screen was missing. The dishwasher works well but she rewashed a pot. She would like to rent again but we fill up a year in advance with repeat costumers. We would like to have her back after we fix these things. Friends make our rental better.

Ray and I are retired teachers and have owned the property since the summer of 92. There are two previous owners. The first built a 3 bedroom 1 bath in the early 60s; the second added a den and bedroom and bath as well as a deck and screened in sun room in the 80s We started renting in 93 and did an addition to the property in 2003 adding a glassed in sunroom and a 1/2 bath downstairs and an upper story with full bath, large bedroom with 2 beds and mini kitchen: fridge, sink and microwave.

The house has 120 ft of sand beach, is quiet and only 6 miles from Sturgeon Bay with its shopping and fine restaurants. Pottowatomee and White Fish Dunes State Parks are nearby and very worth a visit as well as are the other towns and parks on the peninsula about 20 minutes North.
