Cottage 183, located at 1405 SEA ISLAND DRIVE, a beautiful Marsh Front Estate on the NW corner of 14th & Sea Island Drive, an Original Sea Island Classic.
Just ONE BLOCK walk to one of the nicest BEACH on Sea Island. This Classic Cottage is the perfect getaway. It has the eloquence of a fine private estate that's nestled in nature's magnificent beauty.

The cottage has a grand lay out of yesteryear. There is a formal living room that opens on to twin patios overlooking a beautiful spring fed pond and miles of lush marsh.

There is a magnificent ENTERTAINMENT WING, with a jazz piano, a slate pool table, a ping pong table, a large screen TV, a stereo, and its own kitchenette.

When it is time to turn in there are FIVE BEDROOMS ALL with their own PRIVATE BATHROOMS. There are three individual Suites, two with king beds and one with an awesome super plush queen. The master bedroom has magnificent views of the pond and marsh. It has separate his and hers bathrooms. In addition there is a large bed room adjacent to the game room with a king & a twin bed. Perfect for teenagers. Also included is a kids room with a twin bunk bed and its own bathroom.

This neoclassical 1965 French cottage has boasts 5,400 square feet of space. Many of its original fixtures, woodwork and hand crafted details have been maintained to its original Sea Island luster. It is conveniently located on 14th street between the Marsh and Sea Island Drive.

Barron’s named Sea Island #1 on their list of “Best Places for a Second Home'. While its beauty and range of lifestyles and luxury, as well as its status as a “power alley” of influential residents, were noted, Sea Island was rated highest for its value. Outside magazine’s Adventure Advisor chose St. Simons Island as a “Best Fall Beach Escape” because our sandy beaches are largely employ in the off season while temperatures are sill in the 70s, and fishing, surfing, and biking are all possible. National Geographic Traveler included the Georgia Sea Islands, as its “99 Top Rated Places”. Speaking of golf, this is the perfect base for attending the PGA’s McGladrey Classic golf tournament held at Sea Island's fabled Seaside golf course.

We had a great stay at this Sea Island cottage. We were also able to have guest passes to the resort, which made staying in the cottage an excellent option with all of the activities. The home is very spacious and the layout would fit multiple families even though it was just us. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout our planning and our stay. I also appreciated the home being stocked with many essentials. Definitely considering for our trip next year.

We just had a great visit at this home! The entertainment wing was AMAZING for our 3 kids to enjoy playing games, ping pong, pool and having their own space to sleep as well. This was a very relaxing layout as everyone had a ton of room and their own bathrooms in each room. The kids also loved the bikes that were provided and went out on multiple bike rides each day. Ryan went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied and answered many questions from me! 10/10 would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway on Sea Island.

Ryan, our manager, grew up on St. Simons Island and from a young age started to help managing vacation properties for his parents and is now apart of managing Cottage 183. He knows the properties like the back of his hand and will make sure that you feel right at home during your stay. This spectacular property is located directly on the marsh with a beautiful tidal pond. It has expansive views of the salt marshes of Sea Island and is a short walk to the beach. What really makes this house stand out is its size! It is over 5400 square feet and has a huge entertainment wing complete with a large flat screen tv as well as a pool table & ping pong table! It is large enough for most family gatherings or a casual weekend away from reality!

With five bedrooms and two kitchens it really is a unique property that I promise you will quickly fall in love with.
