Pilot House 233-235 is a second floor unit that has a lock-out door, giving you a unique floorplan and plenty of space for your family. The kitchen is updated and well-stocked with kitchen and cookware in 235 while 233 has a kitchenette-style setup. There is dining table and 6 chairs. The living room has a flat screen 4KTV, sofa sleeper couch, and swivel rockers. The Master bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full bathroom right outside the room containing an updated double vanity and shower/tub combo. The second room has two queen beds, a private bathroom and a shower/tub combo as well. A washer/dryer is in the condo as well for your use. Walking distance to Village. Enjoy restaurants, shoppes, family entertainment and nightlife. Walk to Marina for bikes and kayaks. Hang out at attached pool. Tram to Beach!

Sandestin Amenities:

Resort style pool accessible from the 3rd and 4th floors of Pilot House. Pool, Hot tub, cool tub

Pool area also has a fitness center, barbecue grills, and a fireplace for cool nights.

Complimentary tram will take you throughout the resort to beach, pool, golf, restaurants, shopping!

Perfect Getaway

I cannot say enough about this beautiful condo. The layout was perfect for us and seemed so much more spacious! It’s convenient location to the parking garage and Village was well worth it. We will definitely be booking again soon!

Christmas in Sandestin

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely condo. Everything was exactly as advertised. The location was nice and quiet at night and then a short walk for dining and sightseeing during the day. I most certainly recommend this rental, and I'm sure will be returning myself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was super easy to get to and Anne’s instructions were so helpful for parking and access to the unit and pool area. We didn’t have the beat weather but we still had plenty to do. The village was awesome - great for strolling, the playground for our 3 year old and tons of food options. I would go back in a heartbeat!

We went for a weekend. The location was great! There was plenty of sleeping space. The room was well stocked. The property manager was responsive when we contacted her. There was some small things that could use some updating but overall the condo was fine.

We loved our stay at the condo. It’s was nicely decorated and the perfect size. Plenty of space and easy access to the pool and parking. The pool was heated, which was great since the weather wasn’t cooperating. The only small thing I could remotely complain about is the construction going on right next to the room. The view from the balcony is construction and it’s a little loud outside. We didn’t have an issue with noise inside. Since the weather was chilly, we didn’t spend much time out there. The owner was very responsive. Overall we would definitely visit again.

Easiest vacation ever

We came down with two other couples and their families. Everyone stayed in Pilot house and the kids love room hopping to see each other. This condo had everything we needed and more. Very clean and had a lot of room to spread out. Anne was very attentive with all our questions and answered quickly. We took the tram to the beach and it was great to be able to load two wagons completely full into the back without difficulty. The drivers are so personable and told us about local fun places. At night we spent time in the Village and all 10 kids (16yo-4yo) found something to do. Tram took us back to the beach for night crabbing/fishing. Once you park your car there is no need to get back in. Groupon has a code for 18hole mini golf for $20 for 4 and that was a fun/cut throat time for our group. Highly recommend this condo and location. Sarah

Not worth the money

The condo is outdated. The view is horrible, it faces some building and big equipment. It’s very loud at night. There is an Alley there that trucks go up and down. I guess bringing in supplies. The ceiling fan in master bedroom is loud. The pillows that were on the master bedroom bed were flat. They did have extra pillows in closet but no extra pillowcases that I found. The tub and all the sinks drained slowly. The host did send someone day 3 to unstop them. They were clogged with hair. The rugs are extremely dirty looking. The description says the master bedroom had a queen bed. If it is a queen it is a small queen if there is such a thing. A would check around because we paid as much for 4 nights as my son did for a 5 night stay and his condo was much nicer. The washer and dryer in condo is small stackable and it holds about 3 towels so I was doing laundry way too much to be on vacation. If you leave at night good luck finding a place to park when you get back. The outside patio was dirty and some of the outdoor Furniture was dirty.

Excellent location for pool, hot tub and shopping; comfortable, upscale unit

We loved our time at your condo! The comfortable and upscale furnishings, towels/bedding and kitchenware made staying a pleasure. As described, the pool and hot tub are a quick two flights of stairs away. We had both basically to ourselves the entire stay (this is the first week of Jan.). The teens loved jumping in the cool tub and the pool/hot tub temperatures were just right. The atmosphere is resort-like and peaceful. Proximity to shopping/restaurants was perfect - just wish more was open but we’ll take slow over overcrowded. Charlie’s Cafe is a great place to grab a breakfast sandwich and we had an nice outdoor dinner at Slick Lips. The unit itself was comfortable - one reason I booked is the wall-to-wall carpeting in the pictures looked cozy but note it has been upgraded to engineered wood and area rug in the main area. Another item to note: the barstools were missing for us and there was simple furniture on the patio, not the nice padded wicker furniture as shown. Otherwise, the unit exceeded expectations and we appreciated the level of furnishings and care put into the unit. Two suggestions would be: figure out how to get a dresser in the main bedroom and install a keypad. Thank you for the incredible stay! We were sad to leave!

Not quite great

Overall, the unit was nice. It was clean and the spaces were good for our family. Unfortunately, we were not informed of the entire property is year long painting project happening at this building. This made our balcony unusable for our entire stay. Several days workers were on the balcony right next to the sliding door. EVERY day we were awakened to a man lift working right outside of the master bedroom. This work and noise continued throughout the day, EVERY day of our stay. The painting project had us walking through drop cloths and roped off railings on the way to the pool and out the front door as well. This is a huge project and looks to continue for all of 2024. In addition to the construction noise and dirt, the balcony isn't really a desirable space. The noise of the neighboring hotel's air commercial air conditioning units and giant generator made it incredibly loud. Parking is in a garage below and is easily accessible from the unit. However, it is a very tight fit requiring the driver to have lots of patience getting into the spaces.

Our family has been coming to SanDestin for many years. We have two boys, now 22 and 23, that have been coming since they were wee ones. We have created such wonderful memories here and will enjoy sharing with you, our guests!

Why they chose this property

The Pilot House has been the primary location we have stayed. We prefer the Bay side to the Beach side. We can easily get to the beach, but staying on the Bay side allows us to enjoy much more of what the Sandestin resort has to offer. Close proximity to the marina, kayaking, fishing, walking in the Village, biking, are all special things to do.

What makes this property unique

Proximity to the Village of Baytowne Wharf is a highlight! Just steps away from the shops, restaurants, nightlife, and scenery of the Chocatowatche Bay! The kids will love the zip line, arcade, playground, and more. Relax at the resort style pool with amenities such as hot tub, cool tub, fitness room, barbecue grills, and of course, the pool! The surrounding neighborhoods are to bike and take a walk in. The beach is just a short tram or car ride away! You will love it all!
