About this property

Berkshire Village Carriage House - Super Private!!

Private, unique getaway in the center of the Berkshires. We're a 3 minute walk to the Ashuwillticock rail trail. Situated on over 100 wooded acres with lots of walking trails, extraordinary trees, land forms and private seating areas and spaces to explore.

The cottage is a newly built. Super comfortable space above a stand alone 3 car garage. We have a private entry driveway and parking area exclusive to the cottage. Open floor plan with fun window seats, full kitchen and living room and full bath. It's a unique thoughtful design.

Radiant floor heat in the winter, central A.C. in the summer.

The true measure of a successful vacation rental is the number of times the host had to be contacted due to problems. In this case, the answer was ZERO.The Carriage House was wonderfully appointed. It was bright and airy and seemed spacious despite it's relatively small area. Everything we needed was available. The views of the surrounding forest were excellent, especially while it was snowing. And we were only 20 minutes away from Notchview Nordic Ski Area; one of our favorite places for snowshoeing and cross country skiing.It is clear that a lot of thought and time was put into constructing and furnishing this lovely retreat.We were sad that we had only booked one night ... we will surely be back for a longer stay.For those reading this ... check out Common Table Restaurant. Excellent and creative food choices just a short drive away.

Just a beautiful, and very clean/organized place. With several teas/coffees & different brewing options/..dishes/pots/pans/mugs available. Many lighting options, as well as surround sound throughout the Carriage House. Expert carpentry, creative wood-work pieces, and nice tree paintings. Many clear hiking trails.
