Great little property. Very cozy and a resident bear 🥰

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was great. We do have a small animal underneath the cabin making a lot of noise every night of our stay, but we understand it’s hard to keep them out! We did mention it once when we saw a maintenance man, but were told there was someone else that takes care of animals. Our neighbors had a squirrel inside our cabin so when the person came out to take care of that, we filled him in on our issue and that evening we did not hear any noises! I would suggest adding some hooks near the main entrance to hang coats on, as there were none, but there was plenty of space for some. We would also suggest some hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom to dry.

Great Cabin for Two

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great cabin. Easy check in and check out. The cabin was clean, and the hot tub was a great feature, especially after long hiking days. The location was perfect. The only complaint, and it's very small, is that there were no hangers in the armoire wardrobe closet. An easy fix with a quick purchase. Would totally stay here again.

We had a visit our second morning from three (3) bears who walked around and posed for pictures. The only small complaint is that there was no Channel list for the TV. Now a very big plus and praise. Our checkout went smoothly but we found out enroute home that we had left a necklace that had a huge sentimental value. We called Elk Springs and they immediately set out to look for it, found it, and shipped it to us. Totally impressed by the honesty, integrity and professionalism

Everything that we could possibly need to make it an uneventful vacation was supplied. The only thing that we didn't realize is how much creaking and groaning the cabin did during high winds lol that was a little unsettling, but it was perfect weather and accomodations for our Anniversay get away.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was filthy. Dust everywhere, dirty floor, bed covered in mysterious white stains. My fiance has asthma and this level of filth poses a serious health risk. Has to leave to find other accommodations and will almost certainly not receive a refund. Managements response was cold and dismissive. I would not stay at these properties or work with this management team even if you paid me to.

Not so satisfied

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived to a hot cabin! Maintenance came out and was very knowledgeable and definitely wanted to get us comfortable. We were not allowed to put the thermostat below 70 degrees, which is very disturbing. Had a pool table and a great arcade game upstairs, but it was too hot to be able to play them because it was too hot!!! The bed was ROCK hard. It was miserable!!! Both my husband and I had back aches!!! WE had to go and buy a soft topper to put on it; that helped a little bit.Not enough towels for a week stay. And, of course, only enough washing powder for one load. Had to buy our own. Bare minimal (dishwashing liquid, soap for bathroom, washing powder for clothes, toilet paper, and paper towel, trash bags) etc. Had to go and buy all of that.Furniture is old and used. TV channels were horrible. No stations except local. NO cable!!! Positives: The jacuzzi tub and the jacuzzi outside,however, all cabins seem to have that.

The hot tub on the screened in porch was perfect, especially after hiking! Has everything you need, but is also no frills. Bed was fairly hard and sheets were thin and scratchy. The bedroom area is a little tight, so just watch your thighs on the bed frame corners! We would definitely stay here again!

Romantic Views Cabin Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are very disappointed with our Cabin stay. When we arrived the cabin was not clean and smelled very musty. They did come back and clean it which did make it better. However, we were offered an upgraded and offered to pay for it with Carole, she sent us a couple of photos of cabins and we responded with what we wanted to do and she did not return our calls after multiple times of my husband and myself reaching out to her. Customer service was not helpful at all. The hot tub was too hot and didn't cool down. The maintained guy did respond in a timely manner and was very nice and did what he could to help. The views were not near as nice as our previous stay. After a couple of days the smell was back in the cabin. Also, the floors in the bedroom bath area were in bad shape due to moisture. Needless to say we will not be returning to your result and will advise our friends and family not to waste their time on this resort. Thank you

Great Stay in a Cute Cabin

As soon as I booked the property, I received a call from Elk Springs to confirm everything. They also provided a number I could call or text with any questions or concerns. Customer service was excellent! We were a little nervous getting up to the cabin since it was on a very steep and narrow road, but after we got up there, it was beautiful. The cabin was clean and we loved the game room and hot tub. The location was nice because it was close to downtown, but far enough away from the noise. I would highly recommend staying here!

Cozy little cabin!

Reviewer Comments: Everything went smooth from booking, to checking in, to checking out! My girlfriend and I chose this spot to celebrate my 40th birthday and we were not disappointed! Great views, great location, and a very clean cabin! If i was to criticize at all, it would be the lack of channels on the tv lol. Other than that, we will stay with Elk again!
