The Beach House at Tillicum is a contemporary ocean front home; its layout and location is perfect for your vacation experience. The western facing windows provide breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean--less than 100 feet away. It is the perfect place to relax, to romance, and to reinvigorate!

Relax in the spacious outdoor hot tub just steps off the wrap-around deck, while listening to the mighty surf and watching the distant fishing boats. Follow our private trail to the sands for beachcombing, kite-flying, refreshing runs or romantic strolls on endless miles of lightly populated public beaches.

Many spectacular features await you at the Tillicum House beach. The mouth of Big Creek--just steps from the back yard--changes orientation almost daily, thus altering the look and feel of the beach. For over 40 years, visitors to the beach have carved their names into a gigantic tree that washed ashore during the Great Alaska Earthquake of 1964. Playful seals like to pop their heads up in the nearby waves and follow along as you hike on the beach. Some of the best whale watching in Oregon can also be found at nearby Cape Perpetua.

By staying at Tillicum, you will be centrally located between Florence and Newport, and just minutes from Waldport and historic Yachts where you can find a variety of restaurants, ocean activities and shopping pleasures. Great little getaway. I like the private backyard with hot tub and a private trail right to the beach. It was cold outside when we arrive but the house was pre-heated, it was really nice to walk into a nice warm place!! I would definitely stay there again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time at this rental. This was the second time we have rented this house. We liked the improved deck with the extra space for a table and several chairs. In additional we were able to walk barefoot on the deck which was great. There was one issue of concern involving a weed with tiny spikes in the back lawn that would embed into our shoes. Some of these spikes from previous renters were trapped in the carpet and were encountered painfully during the first couple days. Basically we did a search and removal from the carpets and carefully did a check and removal of these tiny spikes from our shoes when returning from the beach. In the end we had a pair of shoes for the beach only that remained outside on the deck to prevent bringing in these tiny spikes.

Perfect Oceanside Getaway

This is our second time staying at this oceanside home. The location is perfect for us—steps away from a quiet beach, yet a few minutes easy drive to the Green Salmon coffee/tea house and many other restaurants, stores and shops, not to mention all the trails and parks to explore. With 2 bedrooms, both with adjoining bathrooms, we were more than comfortable after an evening of stargazing from the hot tub. We look forward to our next visit!

Waldport beach house

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this rental. The beach access was the best we have had after many trips to the Central Oregon Coast. Long beautiful beach. The house had everything we needed, including the hot tub. The rental company was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Lovely view

We love Yachats! This house has nice big windows to view the ocean. The beach is right down a short path and very few people there. Saw an amazing amount of stars from the hot tub. Clean and had everything you need. Very close to town which has great restaurants. Would love to stay again.

Idyllic Beach Getaway

Place was a short one minute walk from a wonderful broad and long beach. House was clean and comfy. Hot tub worked great. We were close to some great attractions like the aquarium . If we had not had the two year olds would have gone hiking on some of the forest trails nearby. Would recommend this place anytime.

Beautiful memories

We absolutely loved everything about this place property manager was awesome they were easy to contact and very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed making the best memories here with my elderly mother and my sister and our dogs. We loved how easy beach access was we loved the privacy of the hot tub it was nice and hot! Thank you for having us and hope to be back again soon! ❤️ I would recommend this location.
