Beautiful view and while the lots are close together, we came in late October and there was lots of privacy. Sunsets on the lake are stunning. Lots of hiking and birding in the area. Couple of good restaurants, Roadhouse was great for a quick lunch and a drink. Firewood nearby also very reasonable! Overall would come back again and we may to use the kayaks next summer

We stayed at the cabin for 7 nights. Any questions I had before & during our stay Scott did reply back in a timely manner. The cabin was exactly as shown in the pictures, and with that being said, it could use "some" items to be updated and/or fixed. Since we weren't going for the "fancy cabin" and more for the location & price, it was perfect!! The cabin is off the main road, so you don't hear road noise. Fishing was great and the lake water was very refreshing. Would we book the cabin again, the answer would be yes, we did enjoy our stay!!!

Perfect Lake Views

Lovely,comfortable cottage right on the shores of Hubbard Lake. Cottage was just as listed and photographed. We had fun using the kayaks, sitting on the porch and fishing from the dock.

We just stayed 2 nights and was so happy with this home. It’s clean, fully stocked and beautiful view of the lake. Its decor reminds you of a family cabin. Bed was comfy, everything you need is here. Fridge was stocked with condiments and cabinets had odds and ends of things in case you forgot anything. Local store - anchor market has fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, the restaurant up the road Smokey’s was great! The lake was beautiful and clean. The sunsets were gorgeous and it’s very quiet at night to sit at fire pit.

Ice Fishing Tournament

My husband and I stayed with our good friends for a weekend to attend a fishing tournament. Cozy little cabin with all amenities, Wi-Fi, and lakeside. Communication with the property owner was available and easy. We stayed when a snowstorm went through and the road to the cabin was being plowed when we were leaving, no need to worry about getting stuck in the 10inches of snow we received. It was a Nice weekend getaway to enjoy the outdoors in Michigan! Thank You!

Great Getaway!

Great mid-week getaway to do some boating, kayaking and relaxing. Loved the house and the natural surroundings around the lake. The host was great to work with, too! We will be back next year!

Great Lake front property

Great spot on the East Bay of Hubbard Lake. Property was perfect for my sister and I while attending a class reunion. Enjoy the lake from the porch or sitting on the dock. Scott responded quickly to all questions and best of all did not gouge us on the price of cleaning. Very reasonable and I would recommend the spot.

What a view!

A wonderful, cozy place on the lake. Beautiful view, awesome sunsets! Very comfortable bed. First time to Hubbard Lake, impressive. Also recommend Smokey's Bar for dinner.

Just what we were looking for!

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a great week on the water. The house had everything we needed, including a dishwasher! Scott was a great host and checked in with us, to make sure everything was good and no issues. We plan to stay here again.

Beautiful Location & Great Communication

The property owner, Scot, was very good communicating with us prior to our stay. He even called upon our arrival to make sure everything was good. The view of Hubbard Lake was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting by the campfire and watching the beautiful sunsets. The house was very nice and clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay.

Perfect for a quick weekend getaway

Property and location were great! The cottage is stocked with all the basics, which is super helpful! The cottage was actually bigger than expected and we enjoyed sunsets every night by the bonfire. Scott was available by phone for the one small issue when we first arrived. I would for sure stay again. Highly recommended!!
