It was a pleasure to have Adrian and Karen staying in The Old Bakehouse, they treated the cottage with respect and were the perfect guests. I would be delighted to welcome them back again in the future.
The Old Baker House was idyllic; it had oodles of charm and all the mod coms, comfortable sleeping too. All while nestled in the wonderful village of Stonesfield. Enjoyed the newly revived local pub, make many locals and Rosamund was the best! Thanks for a perfect stay!

Lovely cottage in a Cotswold village
We really enjoyed our stay in The Old Bakehouse in Stonesfield . Lovely, picturesque and very well maintained cottage, fully equipped for any need. Also well located to visit Oxford and the beautiful countryside villages and of course the majestic Blenheim Palace.
We had a wonderful time. The house was fully outfitted with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and a huge tub. The off street parking was such a bonus. The location was great too. Nothing in the Cotswold was too far away.
Quaint & cozy cottage. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed watching the sunset on the patio. Definitely need a car as no restaurants in walking distance. Ros was a great host & had detailed information on restaurants & activities in the area.

Wonderful cottage
We had a wonderful time in the Old Bakehouse. Well equipped, very clean and all in a beautiful setting. We were even greeted with fresh baked scones and cream. Maybe it shouldn't in this peaceful location but I know for some it is important: the Internet connection is excellent. We highly recommend this cottage for your next stay in the Cotswolds.

Cozy, well-equipped cottage in idyllic setting.
My family and I had the pleasure of spending two nights at this wonderful cottage. As soon as we arrived we immediately wished we could stay longer. Ros and her daughter were very gracious hosts, the cottage was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. The village of Stonesfield is quaint and well located to explore the Cotswolds and surrounding area. My children, ages 9 and 10 loved it, especially the well-tended garden area. We can't wait to return for a longer visit.

Thank you. I am delighted that the cottage provided you with a cosy haven for your time here. It was a pleasure to welcome you and I look forward to your return
This is such a quaint cottage In a small quiet village. The owner lives next door and the cottage was clean and well presented with all towels and basic amenities in place. Prosecco and flowers was a nice touch. Be warned the stairs are quite steep in keeping with the age of the property but this shouldn’t be a problem for most. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s lots to see and do nearby.

Amazing cottage and fantastic owner
The Old Bakery was beyond charming. It was the town bakery until the owner purchased it and converted it into the perfect Cotswolds cottage. Exposed beams, original floors, claw foot tub in the bathroom, and amazing views. We were welcomed by a plate of fresh scones and a lovely note from the owner Ros. She lives next door which is perfect if you have any questions. Very convienent location

Perfect
Really enjoyed our stay - Bakehouse is very cosy and comfortable and maintained to a high standard. Ros is the perfect host - nothing was too much trouble. We loved the wood burning stove in the evenings.
Parking to the side is accessed off a narrow lane which can be a little tricky for a large car. We found reversing in to be the easiest solution.

I am delighted that the cottage was warm and cosy, essential in these winter months and that it provided the ideal retreat for a stay away from home.
Our stay with Ros was fabulous! The cottage was absolutely charming, very well equipped and spotless. The scones and homemade jam to welcome us were just the final touch! The driveway to the cottage is a little difficult to negotiate but pretty much everyone in the village would stop and help us. We could not have had a better stay!
My husband and I absolutely loved this place so beautiful. The cottage is really cosy and nothing was too much for the owner Roz, such a wonderful lady who gave us great tips on where and best times to visit places. The Old Bakehouse felt very homely and it was so lovely to receive homemade scones and jam on our arrival. You won't be disappointed and we shall certainly miss the place. Was certainly a great find!

I am delighted that the cottage has once again provided a cosy tranquil holiday home with all the comforts needed and plenty to see and do within easy reach.
We enjoyed the perfect holidays at the Old Bakery. Ros is an amazing owner and she was kind and helpful from the very beginning. The house is amazing. Can’t wait coming back soon. A perfect plan for a relaxed Cotswolds family vacation.
We loved our stay at the Old Bakehouse for endless reasons! The home and town feel to be straight out of a movie with lovely furnishings, and glorious bedding. It is perfectly appointed with all that is needed for an enjoyable stay. We feel we have a friend in Ros, were rescued by Ian (one of the Stonesfield townspeople) when our rental car agency in Oxford was closed (our advice: go through EuroCar instead of Budget!), and enjoyed the White Horse, a local pub. We found ourselves throughout our daily travels in the Cotswolds longing to be among the authenticity in Stonesfield. We missed our chance to see local archeological treasures and walk the local paths and look forward to a return stay! PS Rosamund makes amazing scones and strawberry jam!
