Located on Banks Road in North Palmetto Point, this clean and fresh 1,500 square foot house has a unobstructed view of the Atlantic. The only thing between Aqua Vista and the beach is our private back yard. Walk down from the 700 Sq. Ft. patio to your own private beach. Relax on our beach deck, or walk down the steps to the beach itself. Relax in the sun, swim, snorkel, hunt for shells and sea glass for miles in each direction. There is no public access to this portion of the beach.
The 2 Bedrooms (on opposite sides of the house) each have their own bathroom suite and outside alcove, offering total privacy. Ideal for 2 couples, a family of 3 or 4, or perhaps you would like the entire house for just the two of you.
Wireless DSL internet is supplied at no additional charge.
A fully equipped kitchen awaits you along with all the comforts you would expect in your own vacation home. Grilling is easy with our Weber Charcoal grill and Chimney Starter.
Banks road does not cut through our property. Aqua Vista is set back over 100 feet from the road. You can drive into the property and park right in front of the house.
Our central location makes it an easy drive many of the other beaches and areas of interest.
Great shelling, snorkeling, swimming is available at our beach or within an easy ride to Ten Bay Beach, Club Med Beach, Old Navy Beach, PaPaw Bay and many others.
Very nice restaurants (Tippy's, Sunset Inn, The Beach House, Sky Beach, Cocodimama's) are also within an easy drive. Grocery stores and 'Snack Shops' are available in Palmetto Point, Governor's Harbour and other nearby areas. You will pass them on the 25 minute ride from Governor's Harbour Airport (GHB) to Aqua Vista.
For your convenience, a full 'what to do' guide book and maps await you at Aqua Vista.
If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, relaxing and has all the little things you would expect of your own place, look no further.

We looked at several homes on Banks Rd. Of the available homes, we felt that Aqua Vista offered the best value. Primarily due to how it sits on the property. The fact there there is no road cutting between the house and the beach is a huge plus. The way the house sits off the road giving us ample space to Park and view the Ocean is fantastic.
No place is perfect. But this one comes close. If you are looking to relax and enjoy the seclusion, look no further. Soak in the view from inside the house, or on our 700 square foot elevated patio, or 180 sq. ft. Beach deck. The fact that the road dead ends keeps the traffic to a minimum. The neighboring homes are well spaced out. We are secluded enough to give you a sense of privacy, but close enough to stores and restaurants when needed. The house is well stocked with all the little things you would expect in your own place.
Aqua Vista was a dream come true! Well furnished with all of the comforts of home! Nothing compares to sitting on the expansive back porch! We spent a lovely 6 days at the house, it was surreal. This area has everything you need...off-road adventures to the most exclusive beaches, local dinning, and quiet nights! The view takes your breath away EVERY DAY! The house is located just far enough from everything for that truly Utopian feel. The most relaxed I have ever been in my adult life. I am a mother of three and just graduated college; I know a bit about stress. Wonderful place to call home for a bit.
We had two wonderful weeks at Aqua Vista in early December. The house and its surroundings exceeded our expectations. The living room furniture, beds and kitchen table/chairs were very comfortable. The house was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was more than adequately appointed with everything one needs and then some. It was a bonus to have beach towels, chairs, snorkeling equipment and some coolers with ice packs, which we took full advantage of. The ocean view is spectacular and so were the sunrises. This was our second time to Eleuthera but our first time on North Palmetto Point, and we loved the access it gave us to wonderful bars and restaurants. A little unknown gem right up the road was Uniques. We had two delicious dinners there. We enjoyed Tippy's, Rainbow Inn and the Sky Beach Club. Also ate at 1648 Bar and Grille which was fabulous! By far, our best dinner out and exceeded our budget. A must is the Governor's Harbour fish fry on Friday night. Well worth it! The welcome gift was also very much appreciated. It was a joy to work with Sue; she was very pleasant and accommodating. Do not visit the island until you have purchased The Beach Book, ultimate guide to all of Eleuthera's beaches. Well worth our money and it enhanced our driving adventures to remote beaches. When we return to Eleuthera, we'll for sure stay at Aqua Vista."
Thank you, Sal and Lisa.
My husband and I spent 7 nights at this lovely place. In fact we checked out this morning and I am writing this review as we wait for our flight out of Nassau. We have been coming to Eleuthera for the past 11 years and have always stayed at differnt houses in governors harbor. This year we decided to stay in north palmetto. We are so glad we did for we would not have found Aqua Vista. This home is well appointed and is a true home away from home. We loved it! Sal it's been a pleasure working with you. I am already looking forward to coming back next year. We could tell this home is loved and well cared for by you and your wife. Nice touches throughout the house. Very very comfortable. The view of the ocean spectacular. We couldnl't have asked for anything better. Thank you Sal and Lisa for sharing your home.
My husband and I spent 12 nights at this gorgeous place this past Christmas. We can't say enough great things about the villa, the owners and the caretaker- even better than expected! The villa is spacious, spotless, airy and light, yet very comfortable and filled with whimsical marine-themed décor (some created by the owners, which adds such a nice touch!). We both love to cook and had most of our dinners at the villa; never did we want for anything in the kitchen it was so well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the huge terrace and the fact that the house sits back from the beach, offering much privacy. There is, however, a lovely wooden deck that sits right on the beach and has cozy Adirondack chairs. We've been to Eleuthera once before and believe all of Eleuthera is breathtaking but being in North Palmetto Point is very convenient. You can easily visit many beaches and points of interest such as Levy Preserve and Blue Hole, though the beach right out the door may be one of the nicest. (The book The Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera is highly recommended if you want to visit some awesome beaches.) North Palmetto Point is also close to restaurants and Island Farms, which sells fresh produce along with many home-made products including hummus, spinach dip, salsa, dressings and marinades. They also have baked goods on certain days of the week.
Both the owners and the caretaker also helped make this a great stay. Sal, the villa owner, was very helpful before and during our stay. He promptly answered all of our questions and made it clear we could contact him at any time without feeling we were bothering him; he seemed to truly want us to enjoy his bit of paradise. Sue, the caretaker, was also there to answer any questions and help out however she could. There was a short power outage, which is common, and Sue was able to assist in getting it back on in a fair amount of time.
All in all this was one of the best vacations we have ever taken and we plan on going back again next year! We have thought about trying other places but we've decided, why bother when we know Aqua Vista is perfect?
This villa was perfect for our short week in paradise. Being on N.P.P., it is centrally located to everything which makes it great for daily excursions to both the north and south sides of the island. The villa was very clean, spacious and had every modern convenience you would need to be comfortable both inside and out on the beach and Sue, the caretaker, was very nice and accommodating. Be sure to bring snorkeling gear to enjoy all the coral heads behind the villa and be prepared to walk along the beautiful beaches for hours in which we rarely saw another human being. I would also advise to bring your own frozen meats as food on the island is expensive, but very good. Cocodimama's had the best fried calamari I have every had and Bistro at Sky beach has unbelievable pork ribs and drinks. The bakery in G.H. is great..fresh donuts, fresh breads and cinnamon rolls and Mark's burgers and fries are delish! We cooked/fried fresh grouper and conch we bought from the fisherman at both Rock Sound and G.H. docks and bought produce at Island farm which was cheaper in the end. Don't be bashful of p/u hitch hikers on your way to explore all the beautiful beaches and coves, as this is many of the locals main mode of transportation. We had some great conversations and the locals are very nice and appreciative. Thank you Sal and Lisa for offering your beautiful villa, we will definitely be back very soon...some of our friends are already planning their trips to Aqua Vista.
What a great house! We just returned from a week at Aqua Vista and I seriously cannot imagine a better rental. It's clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The Adirondack chairs on the patio and deck are heavy and high-quality (no Rubbermaid here), and the beach deck is fabulous. The house layout provides privacy in the two ensuite bedrooms, with quality linens and comfortable beds. The common area is open and inviting. The kitchen has everything you need. Sue, the caretaker, does a great job (and she rents cars, too). I will look no further when we plan our next trip to Eleuthera. Thank you, Sal and Lisa, for opening your beautiful home to renters!
