Ihana 1200 neliön talo sijaitsee rauhallisella alueella Länsi-Tisburyssä. Pois väkijoukkoja, mutta vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä Vineyard Haveniin ja Oak Bluffiin. Tarjolla on myös kätevä pääsy Chilmarkiin ja Aquinnahiin. Kätevä Lambert's Cove Beachille (maksu Park and Rec: ltä rannatarroista), osavaltion metsään, West Tisbury Centeriin ja lentokentälle. Kävelymatkan päässä State Road -ravintolasta, MV Glassworksista, Middletownin lastentarhasta, M M Stone Antiquesista ja North Tisbury Farm & Marketista. Kaksi makuuhuonetta - yksi yläkerrassa, toinen alas - toisessa on queen-vuode, toisessa kaksi kaksoset. Olohuone katedraalin katolla. Suljettu kuisti. Omistaja paikallinen.

Cozy & rustic - safe & essentially silent w/ that classic cottage charm. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Friendly neighborhood with picturesque hiking trails. Minutes away from what many consider to be the best beach on the Island. Our hosts were very attentive - checking-in with us almost daily.

This house was not for us. I rented for 3 days but I didn’t stay here more than 5 minutes because of the challenges we had. You need to be comfortable with it being pitch black outside because there is no lighting. You should find the house during the day because it’s concealed by bushes and you have to go down a little path to find it. We could not find the house the first night and struggled to find an alternate sleeping arrangement. It is an older house and has a bathtub in the hallway upstairs that is visible when you enter the front door. I rented this space to share with an employee an neither of us would fell comfortable bathing there. When we arrived, the house was completely open- the windows were raised and there was no lock on the doors, which felt unsafe for 2 women traveling in an unknown area to a house in the woods. This house is about 20 minutes from Edgartown area and 20 minutes from Oak Bluffs. The last photo is a still shot of a video I took while we were riding in the car attempting to find the property. This house was not conducive for our stay. I gave it 2 stars because the host was very nice.

We're grateful for another great week at our favorite VRBO in West Tisbury where we have stayed numerous times. The house is the perfect summer getaway, and Molly and Steve are the best hosts on the island! It's perfectly located for easy travel to all of our favorite Vineyard spots -- including Lambert's Cove Beach which this rental gives you access to for a small town beach pass fee. We love the comfortable feel of the furnishings and decor. We will be back. 5 stars!

Our favorite place to stay on the Vineyard

We love staying at Molly and Steve’s lovely house in West Tisbury! We’ve been there several times and will return again. The house is in a peaceful and quiet location and at the same time is conveniently located to everything in West Tisbury – grocery stores, art galleries, restaurants and the oh so beautiful Lambert’s Cove Beach, our favorite beach on the Vineyard. Molly & Steve are awesome hosts-friendly, welcoming and available next door if you need anything. The house is so comfortable, and it also has lots of character and beautiful artwork. The air conditioning mini-splits make the house very comfortable on humid days, and there are lots of windows to open on cooler days. In the mornings, we love to sit outside with our tea and coffee in the lovely and peaceful garden with great outdoor seating. Molly & Steve’s house has everything we want in a vacation spot. We can’t wait to come back!

Pleasant stay

Very cute and quaint home nestled in a quiet area in west tisbury. Bed in master was a little hard, but the home is oozing old-school charm.

Quiet, Convenient Vineyard rental

Molly and Steve offer a nice rental home with easy access to up and down island. Antique "style" house with A/C which made all the difference on a hot summer day. We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciate their hospitality. The Vineyard vibes were flowing! Thanks guys.

Lovely, vintage-infused house in convenient location

Molly’s house reminded me of some of my favorite vacation houses I stayed in as a kid. The house feels bigger than it appears in photos because of the layout and many different spots to sit and relax in. A rarity on Martha’s Vineyard - the house smells good, has beautiful old hardwood floors, and the decor is modern, personal, and eclectic - with many cute/cool vintage pieces and elements. It was cool and comfy in the day time, even without AC, and the yard offered nice places to sit or have dinner. Molly & her partner are welcoming, accommodating, and thoughtful hosts - but keep to themselves during the stay. One related note on that: the photos do make it seem like the house is by itself, surrounded by private yard space, whereas in reality it’s pretty close to 2 other houses. Despite that fact, you don’t feel encroached on by the hosts or neighbors, especially if you’re used to living in more densely populated areas. But, be mindful it wouldn’t be a great fit if you’re looking for more personal outdoor space/privacy and want the freedom to play loud music, have loud conversations, let loose outdoors, etc. Overall, a lovely house and super convenient to great local spots: 7 mins to Lambert’s Cove beach.

Lovely cottage in West Tisbury

We had a very pleasant stay at this up-island home. It is eclectically furnished with many antiques and lots of gorgeous art. There are several inviting lounging spaces inside and out. The kitchen is very tiny but well appointed. No dishwasher and a tiny fridge in the kitchen, but a larger one on the porch. We were grateful for the outdoor shower after beach runs. The location is away from the touristy parts of the island, but within minutes from beautiful beaches and hiking trails. There is a great little posh market minutes away. Molly was easy to communicate with. She lives next door to the cottage, but we didn't need to reach out.

A Nice Little Get Away

Quaint home in a private area. We felt right at home. Although the kitchen is rather small, the outside grill is in excellent condition. The stereo(set on MVY) and many speakers completed the ambience.

Peaceful & Charming

This is our second summer visiting at this property and it felt like coming home. Perfect amount of space for myself, husband and our 2 boys. We love the mix of modern amenities (AC for one! ) and the historic, simple charm of this house. The location is set back, so relaxing and surrounded by nature and birds galore. Molly & Steve have been wonderful hosts! Communicative, friendly and accommodating. We enjoy being in centrally located west tisbury as you can easily venture to menemsha and aquinnah or go to vineyard haven and oak bluffs. We will certainly return in the future!

Great Time on the Island

My wife and I and her parents stayed for a 5 nights at this property in mid July. House was great!! Very comfortable queen bed upstairs and a small bathroom us there as well. Washing machine in bathroom and dryer is located a few steps away near the barn where the hosts stay. The downstairs bedroom had 2 twin beds and were comfortable. The downstairs bathroom had a great shower with great water pressure and was good and hot! The kitchen was well equipped and very quaint! We made dinner 3 of the 5 nights (lobster, spaghetti, and stuffed clams and bagel sandwiches) and had all the equipment we needed! Different types of coffee makers as well. We used the percolator. Nice tv room and a great sitting room with a couch and two chairs near the dining room. A small fridge in the kitchen and a larger one on the enclosed back porch next to dining room. Kind of in the middle of the island so there was a 20 minute drive to each end of the island. We used south beach, which is free and loved it there. We used their beach chairs and they also had boogie boards and a beach umbrella. Loved our time there in the very nice and quaint home!!

Feeling at home in well equipped quiet small house

My husband and I were very appreciative of the loan of Molly’s house – a lovely antique, in a quiet setting, lightly renovated and only modernized as much as necessary: ie a comfortable indoor shower room, hand crafted stairs to a second floor, plenty of lighting. Furnished throughout with nice rugs and old and antique furnishings. Actually, I think we both loved it – particularly outdoor space to read under a spacious sheltering shad tree was a treat & one of the nicest, flower draped, outside showers I have ever had the pleasure of. We experienced comfortable temperatures without ever having to turn to heat or ac – though had we needed air conditioning – it was reassuring to see the large array of solar panels behind the house. House is well set up with den and living rooms: in the evenings – people can do different projects in two separate living areas. Think it is a more comfortable space for a couple or a single person, though there is bed space enough for four. May those lucky enough to stay there appreciate this charming just-the-right-size house.

Although Molly is relatively new to Martha's Vineyard having moved here full time in 2015, Steve has lived here since the '70s. We live in the house in the off season and move across the lawn to our barn for the summer months. We are on hand to help with whatever you need to make your stay enjoyable.
