Architect Villa with private pool, 3 minutes to the beach and 20 min to Lisbon

The villa is located in a residential area in a pine forest, just next to the Aroeira Golf Resort. It is 3 km to the beach where you can swim or enjoy nature with long walks. Walk the beach or on the sandy cliffs above the beach, in unspoiled surroundings, all in close proximity to the stunning beaches. Here it is both quiet and nice while only 3-4 minutes to the beach's bars and nightlife. Or you do a 20 minute trip to Lisbon with all its culture, experiences and entertainment. The downside with Veranda and pool, along with the terrace at the front makes this one can be many without feeling crowded.

The pool is 9 x 4.5 meters and is a saltwater pool, this means a cleaner pool without a lot of chlorine.

300 meters from the villa there is a shopping area with a small supermarket, 3 bars / cafes as well as tennis courts and a large playground.

Approximately 2 km away, there is a larger grocery store, a few restaurants and Aroeira Golf Resort with two 18-hole golf courses (Aroeira I and Aroeira II), four tennis courts, a spa and health center, a common tropical swimming pool, a playground, a shopping center , bars, snack bars and restaurants. If you get tired of these eateries are here securely over 10 restaurants within a few minutes plus a dozen to the beach.

Verdizela is surrounded by a stretch of 30 km of the best beaches in Portugal, starting with the lively beaches near the center of the village of Costa da Caparica, to the almost deserted beaches in the south area, perfect for water or sand sports.

Less than 4 km away, you have beach bars and small restaurants specializing in grilled fish, many of them with lovely terraces where you can enjoy the sunset. There are a wide variety of beach bars after dark turn into discos and bars with live music.

Great house with a lot of space and all a family needs to spend sunny time close to the beach. Special pro's : size of the house, very pleasant garden and pool, great coordination from the owners and the local representative, quite neighbourhood, close access to best beaches and Lisbon. It was the 2nd time we stayed in the house and hopefully not the last one!

Wonderful!

This is a fantastic villa in a quiet residential area south of Lisbon. The outdoor pool and gardens were stunning and so many comfortable areas to relax in. The villa is close to the beach with lots of nice restaurants. We travelled into Lisbon several times using the commuter ferry which worked really well. Communication with owner Camilla was good throughout. Would 100% recommend this fabulous property.

This was a fantastic villa. We were a family of five adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was comfortable, homely and very well equipped. The air-conditioning and fans coped well considering that we chose a very hot week. We particularly enjoyed the pool set in beautiful gardens, especially as it was a good size and 2 metres deep at the deep end. A gardener and pool maintenance people came during the week so they are both very well maintained. Thank you Camilla and Patrik for a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful Villa

Despite some issues at the check-in, the stay was very pleasant. The house is cozy and private, the garden is nice and well kept. The location is excellent to explore the area, where you can find beautiful beaches and landscapes.

Totally relaxing

Great hide away to relax, but close to Lissabon and surroundings to discover everything you want. Beaches in close distance with nice restaurants. Camilla and Patrick have been super nice and easy hosts.

Lovely peaceful villa

Beautifully designed finca style with modern feel. Stunning pool and secluded garden, A lovely place to unwind. The area is quiet and suburban but within 10 minute drive of lovely Atlantic beach with nice restaurants. You can get a taxi into Lisbon for not much more than €20. We are loathed to give a good review as we would like to keep it a secret!

Great and huge house

The house is really huge (4 big rooms), confortable and it contains more than what we needed. The pool is also very big, the garden is big with beautiful flowers and grass. The neighbourhood is very quiet and we were at 5-minutes drive from the beaches, 20 minutes from Lisbon. The owners and the person in charge of the house are very nice and flexible. Overall we adored spending our vacation time in this house. We will definitely come back!

Very enjoyable area

Very nice property if a little dated, limited air conditioning & showers over baths. Plenty of space, bedrooms were good size & layout was excellent. Pool & bbq areas are very good ‘ garden is nice. You need a car for the area 
 groceries a mile away, small local coffee shops in walking distance. Beach 2+ miles 
 is a real find, has plenty of character & is beautiful especially in evening time, has some decent shack like restaurants with lots of character, it’s a working beach where fishermen trawl their nets !. Also recommend a day trip into Lisbon , train where u can park car is 5 miles from house, takes u into centre. All in all a really good holiday , full of exploration & discovery

We had a fabulous stay at Camilla & Patrik's villa! We were greeted on arrival and given the keys and a tour of the place (how to lock doors etc), but in general the house is well laid out and self explanatory, with helpful instructions about rubbish and recycle collections, and gardener and pool maintenance times pinned up in the kitchen.The house itself is beautiful - set back from the street, clean, quiet, and private. We made good use of the pool and outdoor bbq/ dining area throughout the week, and the kids enjoyed their evening downtime in front of the massive TV or playing a game in the comfortable living room. The place was impeccably clean and comfortable with everything you could want. The air conditioning kept the place cool when needed, but the house is spacious, bright and airy so wasn't necessary to run all the time even on the hottest and sunniest of days.The location is great for exploring the area between Lisbon and Sesimbra, and we managed our stay without a car (Ubers are very affordable and available within minutes). The local village shops and cafes were useful and lovely, and there are plenty of supermarkets slightly further afield (we loved the produce on offer at Pingo Doce!).We all came back happy and refreshed. Hopefully we will come again one day in the not too distant future!

AMAZNG

What a pity !!!!! Our trip finished three days ago
.It was so wonderfull!!! The house is perfect!!! Everything expected was there. The swimming pool was so nice. We've spent almost 2 or 3 hours each day inside. The barbecue area next to the swimming pool was the place where we stayed the evening. The garden is beautuifull. Patrick: i want your house!!!!!You are so lucky to be the owner of such a house!!! But we are also Lucky to be able to rent it. And what about José? What can i say about him? He is exactly the man expected. Kind, smily, helpfull, clever, available and ready to do his best to help you. I could write a book about the house, José and our trip. But to conlude, Patrick, thanks to your house, thanks to José, i fall in love with Portugal, with portugeese people, and now, my aim is to do like you : find a house, buy it, and enjoy this country as much as possible. I have no doubt about it, i will come back in Portugal as soon as possible and no latter than next year.

Wunderschönes Haus

Wir waren 8 Personen und hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Das Haus ist sehr schön, die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und nahe am Strand. Die Zimmer sind gross und der Pool Bereich war perfekt. Schade das es nicht 8 Liegen hat, da das Haus fĂŒr 8 Personen gemietet werden kann. Ansonsten war alles Perfekt! Wir werden wieder kommen :)

Tout d'abord, nous tenons à remercier une fois de plus de la gentillesse de José. Nous avons passé de trÚs bonnes vacances, la maison correspond parfaitement aux photos sur le site, le jardin est magnifique. Une trÚs belle terrasse extérieure pour y passer de bonnes soirées. Cependant le seul point à revoir sont les salles de bains de la maison qui pour nous, nous semble trop vétustes ! Paula

Koselig hus med trivelig atmostfere.

TrÚs belle destination pour des vacances réussies !!

Location tout a fait conforme Ă  l’annonce avec une maison trĂšs spacieuse et un jardin trĂšs bien entretenu. Piscine trĂšs agrĂ©able nous ayant permis de faire des longueurs pour Ă©liminer les mojitos !! Toutefois voiture obligatoire pour la plage et les courses. Maison peu indiquĂ©e pour des enfants en bas Ăąge car piscine non sĂ©curisĂ©e et literie non adaptĂ©e. Merci Ă  JosĂ© pour son accueil et ses bons conseils et merci au propriĂ©taire pour ses cadeaux de bienvenue !!!

Propriété belle et pratique, bien située

TrĂ©s belle maison, bien situĂ©e, coin piscine abritĂ© trĂ©s sympa; suffisamment proche des plages sans ĂȘtre trop Ă©loignĂ©e de Lisbonne. L'accueil local de JosĂ© est excellent. Petite critique: il n'y a pas de "vie de quartier", ce qui est frĂ©quent dans une zone rĂ©sidentielle, donc pas de "petit bistrot" ou lieu typique proche et les dĂ©placements en vĂ©lo sont difficiles. Les Portuguais sont trĂ©s acceillants et sympathiques. SĂ©jour globalement tout Ă  fait rĂ©ussi dans une belle et agrĂ©able maison.

Great villa in great location for exploring Lisbon and local areas

Lovely villa with a great pool - situated close to beaches and around 30 mins to Lisbon by car. A car is needed to take advantage of location. Not much within walking distance in summer as so hot but beaches only 5 mins drive and Aldi supermarket 2 mins away Jose met us at the villa for a guided tour and then left recommended restaurant's, beaches and places to visit. His local knowledge was invaluable although his 'must do' list would have taken two weeks to complete! Villa is very well equipped with everything you could want and is set up with a BBQ area next to the pool

FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY

We had a great stay in this rustic but modern and lovely pool villa. It was clean, and had all the facilities you need for a relaxing vacation. Extra plus for a fast reliable internet access in garden and pool area. The pool was so lovely, that we didn't moved from the villa for some days. The barbecues place and veranda by the pool was absolute perfect for the pool party we arranged for golf friends on visits. As this is a location a little away from the beach you absolutely need a car. (You reach the beach and the golf course in Aroeira in a very few minutes) The access to main roads to Lisbon is also excellent and it®s only 5 minutes’ drive to good restaurants and supermarkets. Would definitely recommend this lovely villa to my friends, in fact we will look to stay here again in the future ourselves. Altogether we really enjoyed our stay!

Vi tillbringade sju hÀrliga dygn hÀr tillsammans med vÄr 1-Äring. Huset Àr fint och stÀdningen var utmÀrkt. Sköna och frÀscha sÀngar. Köket Àr vÀlutrustat och allt man behöver finns hÀr. Tomten Àr stor sÄ man kan vÀlja sol eller skugga. PÄ baksidan finns poolen och verandan, hÀr Àr det insynskyddat. Man kan ta smÄ promenader i grannskapet och köpa bröd till frukosten i affÀren som ligger i nÀrheten. Vill man Àta ute finns resturanger pÄ nÀra hÄll och barn Àr alltid vÀlkomna. Vi kan varmt rekommendera att bo hÀr under semestern.

We got Portuguese friends when we went to school in Malmoe and therefore went to Portugal and Lisbon on many holidays. We like Portuguese food and vine, especially seafood. We like to be here when it gets a bit darker in Sweden and now we have bought a house that we rent out when we're not here.

Why they chose this property

We chose the house for its location. We wake up with the birds singing and the pine forest as neighbour. The villa is completely without disturbing traffic noise in a quiet residential neighbourhood. With only 4 minutes to the beach and lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The plot is almost hidden from view on the back by the pool. Here thrives the whole family, our children and our grandchildren. Someone wants to be at the pool, some go to the beach and someone else goes and shop at shopping cent of Rio Sul or Almada Forum which is only 10-15 minutes away.

We love the house that is architect designed as a luxury holiday home for a wealthy family in Lisbon. A rustic authentic style combined with bold and clever details. Here we enjoy life.

What makes this property unique

Here you find the combination of tranquility and proximity to Lisbon. Here you can dine on the veranda and private swimming on the back, or sit on the terrace at the front and wave at the neighbors walking by on the street 30 meters down on the site.

If you want a bit of nightlife, there are good bars with a big crowd just down on the beach, If you like dancing and Karaoke this is the place.
