Wonderful week

We had an amazing week in Jean-Michel’s beautiful house on the River Lot. The place is well equipped - decent bikes and kayaks for the river a lovely bonus. It’s a great house for families and the village, within easy walking distance, is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor hot plate for cooking was perfect and no-fuss. Jean-Michel is a friendly, courteous host who really wants his guests to enjoy the place. Would highly recommend a stay. Wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Fabulous Stay

Jean- Michel was helpful, friendly and efficient. The house was clean, spacious had all the amenities we wanted. Great outdoor kitchen, pool, River view, Kayaks. bikes, Table tennis, Boules. Basically something to keep everyone entertained. Even good WiFi for the teenagers!2 minutes walk into the beautiful village.Would happily return.

Wonderful family holiday with friends.

Great villa, everything we needed. Lovely pool and an amazing location. Bakery and restaurant within easy walking distance plenty to see and do in the area and a large garden and pool by the river to enjoy on those lazy days. Thanks for a great stay. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful Sainte Eulalie

This property exceeded all our hopes. Jean-Michel was charming and very helpful with our motorhome. Great location, comfortable, spacious house and grounds. Entertainment for the entire family; the pool was gorgeous, the bikes, canoes, boules all brilliant additions. We loved it all.

Amazing stay!

Amazing stay at this beautiful property and spectacular village! The house was very clean and well equipped for two families of four. Jean-Michel even provided bikes and helmets for the kids. Pool is a great size and temperature for everyone to enjoy. Loves exploring in the kayaks too! The appliances were excellent at this home. We hope to return again soon!

Adult family holiday

We absolutely fell in love with Sainte Eulalie D’Olt and the surrounding area. The property itself was perfect as was the host, Jean-Michel. The interior is perfect for adults and children with plenty of space to relax and eat when the weather prevents you enjoying the amazing garden, pool and patio area. Outside, you are spoilt for choice. The table tennis table and kayaks were the highlight of the holiday and, with acres of garden, there’s space for football, badminton, volley ball, frisbee etc. we enjoyed several long evenings barbequing at the outdoor dining table. The area is so peaceful and beautiful. We would highly recommend Jean-Michel and his home to everyone.

A magical place

Saints-Eulalie-d’Olt Opposite Gite de la Calquiere, my home for the last fortnight, lies the metal workshop of Monsieur Rodriguez. Wiry grey hair, bespectacled, in scorched blue overalls, he waves as I walk by. Buildings of indeterminate age, but clearly centuries old, block early morning sun from flower filled, narrow, winding streets. Two elderly ladies, students of the pottery school, smile, wish me good day, as they toil over lumps of clay, moulding them into fabulous shapes. The street slopes down to a burbling brook, that once powered water mills whose ghostly forms are captured in sepia photographs adorning the slowly decaying buildings. A firework of floral display blazes brightly leading to a corner where an artists shop sits. Three painters on the bridge interpret the scene. Ancient doors, conceal the secrets of hidden occupants. Crumbling render, pan-tile roofs speak of bygone ages as swifts swoop from the church tower on the square. Pierre, second hand bookshop seller, gratefully accepts English versions of suntan cream stained paperbacks to add to his collection of French curiosities. Couples nurture, home grown produce from allotments that stretch like green fingers of a giant hand to the Lot. The watery artery so vital to the existence of this community. As I take my leave, chimes of bells, crow of cockerels, clang of cow bells on the hill, drift on the breeze. Sainte-Eulalia-d’Olt weaves its magical spell.

Ein tolles hundefreundliches Ferienhaus in außergewöhnlicher Lage mit exklusiven Features: Privatpool, Tischtennis, Fahrräder, Boule und Kanus, die man direkt auf dem Fluss (Lot) ausprobieren kann. Sehr sehr netter Vermieter, der einem zu Beginn alles zeigt und erklärt. Zu beachten: Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist von der Breite nicht für jedes Auto geeignet. Aber in 100m gibt es einen Parkplatz. Das mittelalterliche Dorf gehört zu den "Plus beau villages de France" und ist wirklich beeindruckend. Wir hatten einfach einen tollen Urlaub!!!

Sainte Eulalie d'Olt ist zwar ein sehr altes mittelalterliches Dorf und die Straßen sind für Wohnmobile und Wohnwagen eng, aber glücklicherweise hat das Rathaus in der Nähe kostenlose und sichere Parkplätze zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr schöne Lage, sehr idyllisch gelegen und sehr ruhig!

Wir waren mit dem Gastgeber sehr zufrieden, schnelle Antwort per Mail und bei der Ankunft persönlich vor Ort. Es gab an der Unterkunft nichts auszusetzen! Leider konnten wir die bereitgestellten Kanus nicht nutzen, da die Tage zuvor es in der Region stark geregnet hatte und die Lot zuviel Wasser führte. Wir waren Mitte Mai vor Ort und hatten leider nur am Nachmittag halbwegs gutes Wetter. Was wohl aber nichts heißen muss. Der Pool war aber geheizt, was unseren Kindern trotzdem die Gelegenheit gab, diesen zu nutzen. Die Betten waren bequem und wie beschrieben komfortabel ausgestattet. Das Fernsehprogramm war ausschließlich französisch, übers Kabel / Internet. Wer also deutsches Fernsehen möchte, sollte sich am besten entsprechend um deutschen Internet-TV Stick kümmern und mitbringen. Wir haben es jedoch nur einen Abend genutzt, den Rest hatten wir mit schönen Gesellschaftsspielen verbracht. Resultat: Sehr schönes Haus, wie in der Anzeige beschrieben, volle Punkte Bewertung! Nur ein kleiner Hinweis, die Zufahrt zum Haus ist mit einem VW Multivan, nur mit angeklappten Außenspiegeln möglich. Autos die breiter sind wie 205 cm, werden leider Probleme bekommen, diese können aber nur wenige Meter entfernt geparkt werden, es gibt außerhalb des Ort einen öffentlichen Parkplatz. E-Autos können mit Euro-Stecker 13 Amp geladen werden. Wir hatten Juice-Booster z.B.

Merci pour votre commentaire sur votre séjour. Il est vrai que ce printemps n'est pas des meilleurs dans toute l'Europe, mais je suis heureux que la maison vous ait plu. Le Lot, si paisible au quotidien, peut être très dangereux quand il est en cru et vous n'avez malheureusement pas pu naviguer. Ste Eulalie d'Olt est un ancien village médiéval classé et possède beaucoup de rues étroites pour un van ou un camping-car, mais heureusement notre municipalité a prévu de nombreuses places de parking sécure. J'ai hâte de vous accueillir à nouveau sous un soleil radieux, j'en suis sur ! Jean Michel

Super séjour dans l'Aveyron

Maison incroyable avec équipement exceptionnel. Malgré le mauvais temps, nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans ce gîte. Le village de Sainte-Eulalie est également incroyablement beau. Le propriétaire est très chaleureux et nous a réservé un super accueil.

Séjour très agréable en famille dans cet endroit calme et reposant. Maison tout confort. Nous étions 10 adultes, un bébé, 2 chiens et nullement à l’étroit. Le propriétaire de la maison est d’une très grande gentillesse, très à l’écoute de ses hôtes avec une petite gourmandise de la région à notre arrivée. Merci à jean Michel.
