About Paul Mabie
Your Hosts Gordon, Pat and Paul Mabie. My wife Pat and I spent 24 years in the U.S. Army. After we retired we moved to Bozeman, MT to be closer to the grandkids. We are RVers who love to travel. We spend our summers in Montana and our winters in Key West, Florida. We are delighted to be able to offer our vacation rental home to guests who want to visit Southwest Montana. Gordon has recently become a Marriage Officiant and is able to conduct weddings. at Point of View
Paul Mabie purchased this House in 2004
Why Paul Mabie chose Livingston
Our son, Paul, wanted to purchase a home in Montana. We joined in the purchase with him. We fell in love with this home and its location on the Yellowstone River.
What makes this House unique
You can fly fish from the river bank, swim (life preservers recommended) play horseshoes, float the river in a tube, boat, raft or life preserver, picnic or just relax and watch the river flow by. Deer use the 800 acre undeveloped land next door to the south as a river crossing. There is a bald eagle that fishes and patrols the river. White pelicans float downstream often.

Such a beautiful, relaxing location for a much needed weekend break. The house was clean, comfortable, and private with gorgeous views. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and only wish we could have made the weekend last longer. Thank you!
The property is awesome! The location couldn't be better. The views of the Yellowstone River and the mountains are breathtaking. Great access to Yellowstone and the communication was 5 Star. Quick responses to all of our questions and super helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend this property and we will be back!
Unbelievable views and amazing memories
Spring break getaway to Yellowstone. Perfect location with plenty to do. We will absolutely be back. The views cannot be beat! Just 25 miles from the Yellowstone entrance, a couple miles from the Custer Gallatin National Forest, plenty of eating establishments, small grocery store, Chico day spa. House sits just steps from the Yellowstone River. My MIL wouldn’t be able to go down the hill to the river but myself, husband and kids made the short trek daily. Great sledding hills on the property. Too amazing to put into words. We cannot wait to go back.
So happy to welcome you & your wonderful family to our home in Paradise Valley. We look forward to your next visit
We loved the house it’s amazing! Thank you for letting us stay- one recommendation would be new front tile or rug because we all kept falling it’s super slick!
A few things I really liked. Clean, beautiful views of the river and mountains, comfortable beds, quiet, at the end of a road, well stocked kitchen, giant kitchen island, large sun room with windows on all sides, full size bars of soap, and a wonderful pellet stove to warm up a cold winter night. I would love to stay here again, which is really the best review.
Thank you for staying with us & thrilled that you enjoyed the house & surroundings as much as we do
