We knew the experience was going to be a great one right when we drove up to the house. It’s set beautifully on a small hill overlooking a stunning farm and creek. The accommodations of fire wood, lighter fluid, gas grilling, lighters, coffee, plates, and flat wear really relieved a lot of packing stress that I had. The hot tub was breath taking while getting in it during such cold weather. The farm is within short driving distance of so many fun things. To top it off, David was so very nice to us about making this trip perfect and one to remember. I will always know where to stay when I plan a trip in Clayton again!
We loved this little property, only wished we stayed longer than one night. The stars while relaxing in the hot tub were absolutely amazing and you will see quite a bit of deer around.
This is a wonderful little place for a nice romantic getaway. We have family in the area and usually head to the Clayton area for our anniversary because of the convenience and it's such a great little town. The property is beautiful and quiet! The patio area on the creek is a great place to relax and the hot tub under the stars with the fireflies all around was perfect!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
Nice Cabin for Couples
The cabin was a great value. It is a small cabin, but is clean and has a nice amenities: hot tub, fire pit, and grill. The cabin is located next to a creek and is convenient to Lake Burton, Clayton, and Tiger.
My husband and I rented this cabin for a nice quiet weekend, and got just that! It was great! The cabin was very convenient to downtown Clayton...very small town but quaint. We would definitely recommend this cabin to a couple for a few days.
The lil cottage is on a lovely property, and was comfortable and well stocked, but our favorites were the fire pit and the area by the creek where we played croquet, horseshoes, and catch. Excellent location whether you're headed to Anchorage Marina or Moccasin Creek State Park. And there is a delicious grille down the street where we enjoyed breakfast!
