Irene responded quickly to our request to stay. Communication was easy and her personalized hostess note and beverage for our anniversary stay was delightful. The location of the cottage was perfect for accessing area bike trails and close enough to New Paltz and Woodstock for day trips. The cottage was outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this host and cottage for a welcoming, clean and gracious experience.

Sylvan Solitude

As a seasoned user of VRBO type properties, I found this cottage very nicely appointed. All necessities provided in the kitchen, along with overall comfort whether inside or out on the quiet deck with a view of a tree lined meadow. Peaceful is a good description. Irene is helpful and unobtrusive.

Quiet, scenic and felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The host called to be sure we had everything needed and just to welcome us - an unexpected, but lovely touch. Absolutely everything provided we might even think we wanted. Terrific recommendations for nearby to do and dining. Catskills are lucky to have such a gracious and seasoned host. Many thanks!

Wonderful!

What a perfect, cozy getaway spot. The cottage was everything we needed for a quick weekend away. The location was great, lots to do within a short drive and the walking oath right outside the front door was icing on the cake. Our host Irene was a pleasure and we woukd stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful!

We have stayed in the cottage several times. It's a great location and Irene is a terrific host. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. We were perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do, including a tour at Olana, a hike around Denman Mountain and a walk on the Walkill Valley Trail. We didn't have time to walk the trail right out the cottage door, but we could see it as we enjoyed our dinner on the deck each night.

One more great stay!

The house is very cozy and Irene is a wonderful host. We stayed two nights for the 3rd time. Each time has been a relaxing and rejuvenating time. If we come back to New York we will be staying here.

The most peaceful cottage!

Great second stay!

The cottage has everything you'd need for a relaxing stay indoors, as well as a wealth of information about attractions throughout the county, should you wish to explore. Irene was a delight to work with. We hope to return soon.

Coziest cottage!

We have stayed at this cottage a few times so far. It never disappoints! The cottage is so comfortable and cozy. We love that there is a wood fireplace. Irene keeps the cottage stocked with some nice amenities. It is close to Minnewsaka State Park and Mohonk Mountain. And New Paltz. My favorite is the rail trail right out the door! We will be back! Seeetest cottage!

The Cozy Cottage

Very beautiful property with plenty of amenities! Everything you need for the perfect campfire indoors. Great movie selection and library incase the weather isn’t the greatest. Always warm with beautiful sky lighting.

Cozy and Perfect

Wonderful for a 2 night stay. Cottage was super clean and cozy, and the light in the living room was beautiful all day long. Woodburning fireplace with kindling and wood provided was a nice backdrop for an evening movie from the excellently curated DVD collection- lots of classics! Instant access to the rail trail is a nice feature for a quick walk, with larger attractions like Minnewaska about 20 minutes away. I stayed in winter on a snowy weekend, and it was beautiful, but also looking forward to returning in summer to enjoy the deck and grill. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Another great retreat

Love this wonderfully designed property in a wonderful setting. Cathedral ceilings and skylights make the interior feel airy and spacious for its square footage. Perfect floor plan too. We loved our stay again and look forward to next time.

A Wonderful Thanksgiving Get-A-Way!

Sweet cozy cottage

This cottage is cozy and comfortable. It has all the elements I look for in a special place. It sits only a few yards from a canal trail for a nice walk in the woods along a creek. It feels extremely private. It is near Minnewaska state park for some nice hiking or walking. It’s very close to new Paltz, which is popular for many. Irene is the ultimate host ( in my opinion) thinking of everything to make you feel comfortable. She is easy to communicate with also.This was our third time at this sweet little cottage.and it will not be our last

Adorable Quaint Cottage
