Original 1940's cape cottage, gently maintained and restored with modern wood stove and skylights, but otherwise original character and charm. 4 exposures, 1 full and 1 1/2 bath, dishwasher, and endlessly changing harbor views. Protected screened porch for morning through evening relaxation and harbor watching. Waterfront access and walking trails to Harding and Post Office Road or walk to King Ro, Granite Hall, Town Landing or the Anchor. Simple, relaxed, un-insulated original walls (insulated roof for summer comfort), and grassy lawn down to water.
Upstairs, one master with Double bed, one "pass through" room with Double bed and second master with skylights with (2) twin beds.
This is not for you if you are looking for electric heat and air conditioning, TV, an outdoor shower and pool or 2 acres and privacy. Fast WiFi so you don't have to fully check out.
Enjoy.

We loved staying here! It is a very charming spot, full of character, and with a calming view of the harbor. The host was very communicative and we would love to return some day. Highly recommend!
We have stayed at this property several times and always have a great time. The morning views of Round Pond are spectacular. We highly recommend this home.
We loved our stay at Andrew’s house on Round Pond. It was very relaxing and felt like a classic Maine cabin, rustic and well-loved. Beautiful sunrises and an easy walk to town. Would love to come back.
We had a fabulous week at this cottage. It had a cozy charm and great location. The kayaking was perfect and able to walk to the quaint village of Round Pond .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, which is comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, and in a perfect location in the village of Round Pond. It's hard to imagine a prettier spot, with the working harbor right out the back door. We'll hope to return!
Loved our stay in the harbor house where we were easily able to host family members for dinner in the dining room all together. The house had everything we needed. The cozy living room with the fireplace going was a highlight on chilly October nights. Hope to stay again!
We had a lovely time in Round Pond. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. It was very rustic, but with a Brooklyn twist. Andrew was very communicative and accommodating. The location and view can't be beat!
We loved our stay here. Just loved it. Two weeks of relaxation in a beautiful spot. The house is as described: rustic but comfortable, and with some nice modern design touches. Incredible views of Round Pond, a working lobstermen’s and recreational harbor. You’ll hear the boats going out early, but that just ensures you don’t miss the stunning sunrises. A short walk into the village gets you coffee at Round Pond Coffee or ice cream in the evening behind Granite Hall (with the rest of village; it’s very social). The line-wired gas Weber grill is a delight, as are meals on the screen porch. Not advertised is that the back porch patio roof is a mossy living roof, very cool. And the landscaping is low key, well-maintained, and delightful. The house is well-stocked and clearly well-loved.
We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed watching the sunrise over Round Pond from our bedroom. The kids loved taking a morning stroll through the lupines down to to the water.
We loved our stay at this cute midcoast spot! Round Pond is such a great location to be in to explore the Pemaquid peninsula, and this was a really beautiful and cozy old school Maine place. Loved it :)
This cottage had everything we needed for our family vacation! plenty of room for 5 adults , The sunrise in the morning was breath taking. Within driving distance to shops and attractions. Highly recommend the reservation process was quick & easy!
We really enjoyed our stay. Waking up to beautiful views of Round Pond made for an amazing experience. We were up a few times before sunset and saw the lobster boats setting off for the day.
The house had everything we needed. It was very charming, well designed, and very comfortable.
I would highly recommend this property.
This cottage was ideal for me, my husband and 15 year old daughter. We just wanted to escape to a peaceful retreat and this was perfect. The house was rustic but lovely, the kitchen small but had everything we needed to cook, the furniture was very comfortable and we all found our own spot for watching the lobster boats go by or to read our books. The bathroom was basic but sufficient and the skylights helped with air flow on the hotter days of our visit. The "Two Ladies" lobster shack next door was very convenient and a walk down to the village to the "Granite Hall" gift shop and ice cream store was a fun daily activity. We would definately come back here again!
In a perfect setting on a quiet harbor, only a very short walk to the village center for restaurants, coffee, and ice cream. Everything a cabin in Maine should be, and with just enough updates (and fast WiFi) so you'll never want to leave.
The pictures and description are completely accurate. Incredible view of the bay, "rustic" cabin (well, sort of rustic--no tv or ac as described, but a very well equipped kitchen, great wifi, and high-tech skylights). Easy check-in. Good communication with owner. Location can't be beat-- feels very hidden, but close enough to the center of Round Pond to walk to restaurants and stores. Right on the water. Recommended!
