Great time

We had a great vacation, we loved the pool and the beds were comfortable, it was so nice and clean and so family oriented! A great place for a family vacation. The rental agents were so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

Perfect Holiday Get Away!

We stayed with our teenage sons and elderly mother during the holidays and had a great time. Perfectly located for fishing, relaxing, great restaurants. Very clean and plenty of space for our group. The pool, patio, and waterfront were amazing. Would definitely book here again.

Great Vacation!

Our family enjoyed our stay. Lots of time was spent in the pool and visiting Sombrero Beach. My husband and son spent a couple of days fishing. Sitting outside at the end of the day watching the canal was the best!

The backyard was its own vacation, we had daily visits from mantees, so much fun in the pool and lots of space.

House layout was great. Outdoor patio and pool area was awesome for lounging. Lots of restaurants nearby. Check in/out process was a breeze.

I wanted to take a moment to share feedback regarding our recent stay at your property from November 8th to 15th, 2025. Overall, we enjoyed our time and found the home to be charming. However, there are several maintenance issues that need to be addressed to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.Firstly, I would like to mention that communication with the property owner was not possible, as the property is managed through a realtor. While the property manager was responsive in adjusting the pool temperature, I was surprised to learn that this typically incurs a 200 charge after expressing my concerns.More concerning was my experience regarding pest control. During our stay, we encountered three cockroaches, which was alarming. Additionally, each morning we found small black granules in front of the stove, initially assuming they were coffee grounds. However, upon further reflection, we realized they were likely cockroach feces. This was unsettling, especially since we were walking on them barefoot. I reached out to the property manager for a partial refund but have not received a response since her initial reply stating she would discuss this with the owner. She also indicated that cockroaches are common and dismissed our concerns about the granules.

Awesome Vrbo experience

This was a great place for me, my wife and our four kids (ages 10, 8, 6 and 4). We all absolutely loved the pool and Sombrero Beach was close and a prefect beach experience for our family. Would highly recommend this rental and would love to visit Marathon again!

Great Vacation

This house was perfect for our family of five. We rented a boat which we kept at a marina. The pool was perfect. The house was clean and neat.

Great indoor and outdoor space!

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor space was fabulous and the pool was great! Privacy in the bedrooms was a bit of an issue due to the condition of the vertical blinds. We would stay here again!

Highly Recommend!

This was a home away from home. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The whole family loved the house and the pool. It was convenient for all our visits to different Keys. I can't say enough good things about the experience!

New years trip

Nice central location in the Keys. Having your own pool was very nice and definitely needed heat in January. Out door space was perfect. Beds were fine and plenty of towels were provided Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grill was good. We had a great time!

Amazing place!

The outdoor area was the key for us! It was absolutely gorgeous and private. The neighbors were very friendly too. It was very spacious inside and outside. Loved the primary suite was away from other bedrooms. The showers were stunning with great water pressure which is hard to find in the keys. Just an A+++ property. We definitely will consider rebooking.

Awesome week

It was just as the photos. House, pool and outdoor furniture were amazing. Outdoor furniture Amazing! We really enjoyed the location. Inside furniture needed more comfortable chairs. Sofa was fine. Tiled bathrooms were great and beds slept really good. Would highly recommend.

Slice of paradise

You're not gonna be disappointed by this place. I only wish we could've stayed longer. We had only 2 couples, but the accommodations were plenty for 6. Beautifully decorated, updated throughout. If you get a chance, i highly recommend trying Marathon Mermaids Adventures. We took the afternoon sandbar tour & it was the highlight of our trip. Do it early in your visit, because you'll likely want to do it twice. Otherwise, kick back, enjoy the awesome backyard, throw a line in the water, or just relax in the pool. Can't wait to go back. Family vacation

This is the second time staying in Marathon! The house was nice and spacious for our family of 5. We enjoyed the pool during the day. However, the bugs were bad at night, so we weren’t really able to enjoy it on the evening. We rented kayaks and had them delivered. It was nice and peaceful at the house and it’s location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do. One of our favorite things was the turtle hospital. This is a MUST do if you come to Marathon!!! We even were able to experience a turtle release at Sombrero Beach…which was not to far from our location. The check in and check out was very quick and the property manager was quick to respond to my questions.

Cousins get away.

The backyard is amazing. I forgot to have the heater turned on for the pool. Contacted property manager and paid the extra to have the heater turned on. Rein was very prompt in getting the pool taken care of. The sunset view from the end of the street was spectacular. Only complaint about the furnishings was the recliner in living room needs to be replaced. Beds were comfortable. We had plenty of bath towels and beach towels. The kitchen is new and efficient. The master bedroom has a television, but there are no televisions in the other two bedrooms. Small televisions in the other bedrooms would have been nice. We enjoyed are stay and it is on the top of our list for next yeard.

Relaxing stay in Marathon

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. This is a great base for activities in Marathon or a trip down to Key West. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows could definitely be replaced. They are extremely flat. The living area is not large, but for our group it was perfect sized. The main complaint I have would be about the pool. With the sun beating down on it, the temperature feels like warm bath water. We confirmed that the pool heater was off and that the temp was a result of the sun. Jessica replied quickly to the question. The pool cleaner comes on Wednesday’s, and that evening and Thursday were the most pleasant times to be in the pool. It was at least ten degrees cooler. By Thursday evening, the water was beginning to warm again. It did not allow for a refreshing dip after a long day on the sun. It was still pleasant in the evenings. Also prepare to use the pool net to clean the flowers that are constantly falling in. A broom would have been nice to be able to clear the pool deck of the flowers. Overall, this was a quiet and relaxing stay, and we enjoyed our time greatly.

Marathon Getaway

This is a great home and property in an excellent location! However, in my honest opinion it is poorly managed. I do understand this may have been an exception and not the norm for this property but I will do my best to give an honest and clear review below: Positives: this is a beautiful home and a great location in Marathon. The street is quiet, the fishing was great, and the pool and patio area were wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped. The location is right across the street from a small airport, so if you mind a little aircraft noise just keep this in mind. Negatives: when checking in we were provided the wrong key, which I’m sure is just a small oversight. In the middle of our trip the air conditioning stopped working. I contacted the property manager that night who assured me the AC would be fixed the next day. I contacted her 4 times with no answer or call back to inquire the status of the repairs the next day. After talking to her about a possible relocation the property maintenance man finally came out followed by the AC repair service. The maintenance man asked why we hadn’t contacted him the night before, which leads me to believe he was never contacted. We also had 2 small scorpions in our bathroom at night, and 1 very large one hiding underneath our towels one morning. The manager did mention getting us a credit for one night of our stay due to being without AC for the night, but we were never credited. This is a great property that is poorly managed

Wonderful Stay!

The house was perfect for my husband and I to stay for two weeks. Exactly like the photos! We had family join us for a few days, and with 6 adults it was a little cramped (not a lot of seating in the living room) but overall, we had a blast. The pool was great, very clean and we spent a lot of our time out on the patio and by the pool when we weren't out and about. Fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans and dishes. Bring spices if you plan on cooking! I have two suggestions, one would be to add pavers leading out to the dock. We loved to sit out and watch the water in the morning with our coffee but often forgot to bring shoes and the rocks are brutal on non-Floridian feet. The other would be bathtub faucet in the shared bathroom - apparently this might be on backwards, it took our guests a few tries to figure out how to get it to work. Other than this everything was amazing, highly suggest a stay here! Jessica was quick to respond to any questions and the check-in and out was very easy. Beautiful place!!
