This charming, air-conditioned Chatham home has recently been upgraded. It has new living room furniture and fresh paint, new flooring and carpeting, new curtains and lamps, new five-burner/double-oven gas stove, new bedroom dressers and bookcases. Plus, Dyson blade-less fans if you like to open the windows and enjoy the Chatham breeze !

Sea Song Cottage is just a short, 5-minute walk to beautiful, sandy, family-friendly Pleasant St. Beach on Nantucket Sound known for it's stunning sunsets and seashells. Historic downtown Chatham is a short drive away with boutique shops, Chatham A's baseball and gourmet restaurants. The cottage has all the comforts of home - a large, well-equipped, eat-in kitchen, a teak-furnished dining room, a bright sunroom, and a back deck with large Weber gas grill. The living room has two seating areas and includes a fireplace, large bay window and TV viewing area.

Both queen-sized bedrooms and the living room are equipped with a Smart TV, and stream Netflix, AT&T TV, Prime TV and Hulu. The third BR has bunk beds, a third twin bed, plus a fourth pull-out - perfect for children. Plus, High Speed Wireless internet and an outdoor shower. The cottage sleeps 8 comfortably or 10 using the IKEA queen-sized trundle bed.

A enjoy a day at Pleasant Street Beach! In the rolling cart, you can pull the 8 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a rolling beverage cooler to make your 5 minute walk easier!

There’s also a variety of games and puzzles in the game closet for all to enjoy!

Packing for a vacation is difficult enough! We provide bed sheets and blankets, along with bath, hand and face towels for each guest. All bedding, including shams and duvet covers are laundered between all guests.

We had a fabulous stay! The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed when we arrived and the bedrooms were great for our family. We brought our beagle and he enjoyed walking the neighborhood! The very short walk down to the little beach area was so great and we had a wonderful sunset there on our last night. It is convenient to local beaches and driving into Chatham center. Would defintely stay here again!

Perfect Cape House

We had a wonderful time at Seasong. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and small dog. We were able to walk to the beach, the neighborhood was quiet and the back deck was breezy and comfortable.

Fantastic Location!

We had a great week on the Cape! This house is in a great location, walking distance to Pleasant St beach, which has some parking and is usually on the quiet side. The back yard was larger and more private than we expected and we spent several nights enjoying drinks outside. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a Cape Cod beach vacation.

Wonderful Stay at Sea Song Cottage

We had a wonderful week at Sea Song Cottage. This property is very well appointed, has many amenities and is very clean. It is ideally situated, near a quiet, small beach and a short ride to Chatham center. Suzanne is a great host, providing all necessary information for a comfortable stay and very responsive to our inquiries. We certainly shall try to book this property on our next Cape Cod vacation.

South Chatham heaven!

We had a wonderful week at this house! The beach is a very short walk, and it was also a short ride to the bike trails. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and we loved the proximity to the beach and trails! The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for evening strolls. The outdoor shower is huge! We loved everything about our week here.

Chatham August 2023

The house was as advertised, with a great location and easy access to both beaches and amenities in Chatham and Harwich. The kitchen was fully loaded and made everything easy, especially with two young kids. Great yard and a nice, short walk to two different beaches. Would stay again without hesitation.

Quiet neighborhood, perfect home and walk to beach

We’ve rented various homes on the cape and Seasong was the best situated for our family. We were greeted with a sweet welcome basket, the bedroom layout made sense for parents, 2 kids under 6, and a grandparent. The house has all the amenities between washer/dryer, AC, a yard for the kids to run, a wagon for beach supplies inclusive of chairs, umbrella and boogie board. It was a great vacation!

South Chatham stay

We had an amazing time at this house. We traveled with a 1, 3, and 5 year old. We had plenty of room. The house was fully equipped and had everything you can think of. The host was very responsive. It’s 5 min to a beach but the beach is very small, and it’s 10 min drive to Chatham. The yard is super cute and private!

Charming Cape house

Suzanne was a very gracious and responsive host. The house was exactly as described. Check-in was easy. The house was very well maintained and clean upon arrival. Great location, walkable to a private beach area. Each day would could walk 3-4 miles around the area and still avoid the main roads and traffic. Suzanne provided 4 different types of coffee makers! 10 minutes to Chatham or Harwich.

Cape Happiness!

My family and I had a wonderful week! The house was fully loaded with so many things to make us feel at home. Location was perfection. Couldn’t get enough of Pleasant Street Beach. Suzanne was an excellent communicator! Really hope to come back next year.

Wonderful week!

We so enjoyed our time at Sea Song! Grandmother, kids, their 3 year old and a 17 year old nephew. We had plenty of room, the AC was Wonderful, and we loved being able to walk to the beach. Even more, it was dog friendly. The kitchen was especially well equipped. Loved the neighborhood, too!

Great summer getaway!

Accurate description of the house and location. House was very clean and accessible. The house had all the comforts of home available, even a kitchen with enough supplies to cook dinners at the house after a relaxing day at the beach. The backyard is private enough to have BBQ's and play outdoor games. Plenty of space for 6 and our dog. Great place to spread out! Only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The pictures don’t do the property justice. The rooms were spacious. The neighborhood was very quiet. People were very friendly. Host was very responsive. Less than 1/4 mile to the beach. Vey well equipped with everything we needed.

The Bridal Party!

Overall the house was perfect! It met all of our wishes, plenty of sleeping space, a good backyard, and proximity to the beach. Suzanne was beyond accommodating and helpful! Her communication was helpful and welcoming throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend this enough!

Fantastic house in a great location

Family week in Chatham

This house was perfect for our family week in Chatham - we had 6 adults and a baby at the house. It was exactly as advertised and the best part - it was spotlessly clean. The house has everything you could need, including beach chairs and towels! The location was perfect - the neighborhood is tucked away and very peaceful. The local beach (pleasant street) is a short walk, and the beach was almost empty every day. We used it as a walking destination in the morning and evening every day. For full beach days, we opted to go to the larger beaches - Harding or Ridgevale - both of which were just a 5 minute drive, and the best part is that the parking doesn't fill up, so we could go to those beaches at any time. This was huge for the baby - not having to rush to the beach in the morning made the trip so much more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Cape getaway

The house was incredibly well appointed, very comfortable, and our hosts were wonderful. The location is a lovely neighborhood with easy access to beaches and bike paths. Close to downtown Chatham and Harwich. Relaxing and comfortable!

My mother enjoyed a few years of retirement in this lovely Chatham home before she passed away in 2003. My brother and I are lucky to spend a few weeks in the spring and fall with our families, and then offer it to vacationers year round. I travel to Chatham from Raleigh NC at the beginning of the season to prepare for the families - many of which have been coming regularly for years.

What makes this property unique

Sea Song Cottage has a number of "getaway" areas - including the private master bedroom, two separate living room sitting areas, a sunporch and a lovely back deck.

Pleasant Street Beach is just a short walk away and is a gem. As it is south facing, late afternoon provides a shimmering sun on the water - my favorite time to walk the beach! While it is public, it is small and relaxing - with mostly couples and young families enjoying the sand, looking for shells and exploring the jetty. And, the parking is free!
