Magnificent house with swimming pool in the middle of 4 hectares of olive trees

Very beautiful holiday house in a typical Apulian style, entirely reformed in 2016 and located amid thousand-years old olive trees. The domain has 3, 5 hectares of ancient olive trees, almond trees, and fruit trees (lemon trees, orange trees, fig trees, grenadiers, walnut trees, prickly pears, quince trees, and persimmon trees). There are 4 double bedrooms with private shower rooms and one part of the house is reserved for children (a big play room, a bedroom with 3 beds, an alcove with beds, and a shower room with a washing machine). There is an indoor kitchen (refrigerator, oven, extractor hood, and dishwasher) and an outdoor kitchen (sink, gas cooker, and barbecue). There are also two fireplaces. A big magnificent swimming pool of 14 x 6 m is located just over 50 m from the house, amid the olive trees (please note, that the swimming pool is not secured). The house gives both family and friends a very happy holiday.

Communication was excellent and Maria made us the most amazing meal. We were concerned about the heat in the middle of summer but it turned to not be a problem at all. There are fans in all the rooms and the temperature drops in the evening and it is very comfortable.

The perfect stay

We had a lovely stay at this family home in Puglia. The location was excellent—peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. Maria’s service was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always available if needed. One of the best features was the pool, which is set further back in the garden, making it extra safe for children. Highly recommended for families!

The house was as described. We loved the pool and daily dinners outside. We ranged from 18 months to 75 and if worked for everyone. 4 of the bedrooms had there own bathroom and there were 5 total. The showers were wondeful and designed to fit the house. The decorations fit the house and were simple. The beds were especially comfortable. The house is part of an olive orchard and walking the property was really interesting. We were near Ostuni and lots of beaches. It is a great house and exceeded our expectations.

Great villa. Quiet rural location. Nicely redeveloped. Good size and clean pool with sunbeds surrounded by olive groves. Great outside dining area and roof terrace for watching the sunset. Lovely friendly housekeeper (it helps if you speak French or Italian). She also cooks amazing meals. Bedrooms can be uncomfortably hot especially the top floor one as no air con (but does have fans). Fridge/freezer provided little too small when house has 12 people staying.

Great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Rome

Great location and the town of Ostuni is beautiful. Lots to see and do around the area. Maria cooked several fantastic dishes for the nine of us. She even had the grandkids help her with making pasta. Definitely recommend this home.

Beautiful, remote home with amazing outdoor entertaining areas.

This is a spectacular property set amid a gorgeous setting if olive, almond, quince and fig trees. We travelled with a group if 6 and everyone was very comfortable. The pool was great. We didn't realize it was a bit far from town and groceries but we were happy. The property manager Maria was great.

Beautiful house in Ostuni

A special property just outside of Ostuni perfect for a large family or group. The outdoor pool and seating area was perfect. We did miss the absence of the ping pong table and would have loved air-conditioning in the upstairs bedroom as it gets very hot in summer. Booking online and check-in process with Maria-Lucia was great.

Incredible Villa for carefree days

This Villa - a beautifully curated space considering a family or group of friends looking for a quiet time, laying in the sun at the pool, dinners under olive trees and quiet nights looking at the stars. The proximity to Ostuni is wonderful for if you want to go into town. We also visited some beaches which was a short drive. We would love to return next year again.

Ostuni - Farmhouse chic

We loved this beautiful state of the art home and it's amazing pool, outdoor tables, ping pong and grill. Situated between Ostuni and Carovigno in a beautiful oasis of olive trees, we were able to drive to surrounding cities and beaches or relax by the pool. Slept 8 of us comfortably and looked even better than the pictures. Would love to return one day soon!

The property is even more amazing than the pictures. The ambience is not captured in pictures. Everything is very well kept. Arnauld was great at communication and providing information prior to our arrival. The cherry on top is Maria Lucia, property coordinator/ chef. She went above and beyond to prepare memorable meals and organized all needed for a birthday dinner we were celebrating. She brings great energy and warmth to the house and made us feel welcomed and at home. I am already thinking about coming back to this beautiful area and house in future.

Beautiful house and surroundings

We stayed here a week with family of 14 (grandparents, kids, grandkids). The house had a great layout for a group our size: the grandparents got their own, separate room with own entrance, the adult bedrooms were nicely spread around the house and each with own bathroom and entry outside, and the children shared a bathroom, one bedroom and the two alcoves plus a lounge area just for them. We also really enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and spacious dining area outside, as well as the pool area, which had lots of deck chairs with cushions, a fridge, and lots of olive trees around. This really is a beautiful house with white, simplistic decor. Around, lots of nice little beaches are within short driving distance, also lovely villages to visit. 10min drive to nearest supermarket. I would definitely recommend this house for a group of family or friends. Thank you Arnaud for letting us stay here!

Family week

this Villa did work for our family very well and we had a lovely holiday. A few minor points however - we did find it too hot in the bedrooms at night and wished we had Air cond. The layout was good although the property manager failed to show us the attached bedroom which we only found on the 2nd day - by chance as it is hard to spot. Struggled with a big group and no ice maker/freezer in the kitchen only in the store room by the pool where additional fridge is which was for wine etc. No space in the small kitchen fridge. A house of this size needs proper freezer/ice making/fridge in the kitchen. Whilst lots of seating - all chairs were quite uncomfortable and there were no seat pads. Bins too small for such a big group and not emptied daily as we were told so it was tricky trying to recycle properly. Maria was amazing and we really enjoyed her cooking. Great location for Ostuni and the airport. Pool was good - but I am not sure it got the attention from the pool cleaners it needed. All shower heads were blocked and need attention. We all hated the white shingle laid all around the house which covers you in white dust and walks everywhere in the house. Shame there was no proper terrace to sit on for drinks in the evening - however none of the above stopped us having the most wonderful week in this very relaxed house - just a few small tweaks and we would definately love to come back. thank you

Splendide havre de paix

Nous avons loué la maison d’Arnauld durant le mois d’août et avons passé un moment merveilleux. La maison est très agréable et dispose de tout le nécessaire. La piscine est grande et le jardin immense dispose de nombreux arbres fruitiers. Un vrai petit paradis pour des vacances reposantes au calme. Les commodités sont à 10 minutes à peine en voiture ce qui est idéal pour sortir dîner ou faire des courses. La communication avec Arnauld est simple et efficace. L’entrée dans les lieux est tout aussi simple et la personne sur place est charmante. Mille mercis !

Tolle Zeit in einem schönen Haus.

Jeder Kontakt mit dem Vermieter sowie die Übergabe vor Ort waren nett und problemlos, lediglich das erste Finden der Unterkunft hat ein bisschen gedauert. Das Haus war sehr sauber und insgesamt gut ausgestattet. Lediglich die Außenküche hätten wir uns näher am Haus gewünscht. Der Pool war super und wurde einmal die Woche kontrolliert. Insgesamt war es ein toller Urlaub.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 10, ma la location può ospitare comodamente fino a 14 persone. Abbiamo piacevolmente vissuto la casa, la splendida piscina e tutti gli spazi esterni . Minimal negli arredi, ma sapientemente realizzata. Se posso dare un suggerimento, per l'esperienza del nostro soggiorno, bisognerebbe pensare ad un frigo più grande nella casa. Unica pecca .... una settimana è troppo poco, vola via velocemente in un contesto così bello e rilassante. Soggiorno fantastico!!!!

We bought this house in 2013 after falling in love with the region during some of our trips to Apulia. We knew the region very well and we used to go frequently with our children and friends. Each time it was an opportunity to have a great dose of sun and to enjoy this beautifully preserved region. It is the ideal location for taking refuge in a calm, relaxing, and magnificent place. The other advantage is that in the village of Carovigno, located 3-4 minutes away from the house, we have everything we need (mini market, market, fresh fish, butchery, restaurant) for living.

Why they chose this property

We have taken the time to carefully renovate the house, working with selected professionals. They worked and transformed the house in the Apulian spirit, thus turning it into a real paradise soaked by sun. This year is the first time that we rent the house, and at a very reasonable price if you compare it with the house’s quality. We want to try renting our property for a short period of time. We would appreciate your comments and reactions, and of course we are open to suggestions that could improve the stay, yours as well as ours!
