Summer is glorious, but autumn is our personal favorite with unmatched colors and open roads to take in the many vistas. Use the camp as your base and explore the many lakes and byways of the region, with warm clear days and crisp nights. Heat is available in the cabin, or use the cozy wood stove. Dine at the rustic and restored Kawanhee Inn or use the gas grill at the camp. The kitchen has all the utensils you need for cooking and dining, but you should plan to bring your own food, unless you want to make a trip to the grocery store during your stay.
A washer and dryer is on-premises, along with linens, towels, and all the cookware and dishes you need. Two full bathrooms with stall showers, gas stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher. Two separate dining areas, basic cable television.
Enjoy the big, open yard, star-filled evenings and absolute quiet of this beautiful location.
Separate main floor air-conditioned bedroom with queen-size bed, huge second floor, air-conditioned room with four twin beds, comfy sofa, TV and full bathroom - one large space but equal to at least two bedrooms in size!
Ceiling fans on first and second floors.
Living/dining area on the first floor, TV, super-efficient kitchen with serving buffet/counter. Big enclosed front porch with more dining options and a daybed to sleep one more.
If you want a comfortable, clean and serene place to vacation this is it! Great value.
